Teal

As soon as I heard footsteps I immediately took my place waiting Patiently as the door opened up revealing the Commander and another girl that oddly seemed very familiar with her long blonde hair and large white hawk like wings making me stand completely still as they both looked around the room until familiar golden eyes connected to my Teal colored ones.

Flashback

"Mama, is dinner almost ready?"

Teals Mom- "No sweetie, Why don't you go play with Zeke outside while your waiting.

"Ok!" Rushing outside I spot my dog barking loudly at the sky making me look up only to see strange objects shooting lasers at them making my eyes widen in awe.

"Pretty light show! Come here zeke!" I laugh as he rushed towards me with his tail wagging while I held his tennis ball in my hand making him jump in excitement. I jumped at the loud booming noise making me a bit scared to be outside until my dog licked my hand making me giggle.

All of a sudden I heard a older girls voice speaking to me making me glance up curiously only to be met with gorgeous golden eyes shining with so much interest.

I couldn't understand what she was saying but for some reason I still wanted to talk to her. "Who are you?"

I watch her frown deeply before shaking her head which is when I saw her beautiful white bird like wings making my eyes widen in awe. I squealed as she picked me up before brushing a strand of hair behind my ear as I slowly reached out to touch her wings making me beam at how soft they where.

"Pretty."

Teals Mom-   "Teal! Get away from her!"

Huh? I glance towards my mom before looking back at the older girl making me send her a goodbye smile as she reluctantly put me down making me rush towards my mom in excitement.

"She let me touch her wings mama!"

Teals mom- "Just hurray inside Teal, it's to dangerous to be outside. I wonder how long your father will be with the supplies..."

I pout as I stare out the window watching the girl who picked me up walk away which is when I saw my father standing there with a determined look on his face.

"Look mama, it's daddy!"

I couldn't quite see that much do to the girls wings being in the way but one minute my father was standing there doing nothing then the next thing I know is that the girl from before had practically caught on fire as a bright light formed around her completely blinding me as I tried to cover my eyes.

Hazel- "Teal get down!"

My older sister tackled me to the ground making me whimper as the light from before began to dim which is when I saw my dog and father turn completely into dust.

End of flashback

Anger consumed me as I clinched my fists trying my hardest not to attack this girl as she stared at me intently. I couldn't tell if she remembered me or not do to me growing up but I was determined to remind her.

"You... YOU KILLED MY FATHER!" All of a sudden I found my self on the floor with my cheek practically stinging in pain making my bottom lip tremble as tears threatened to spill.

"Why did you try and run?"

I look into the girls now blood red eyes making me scowl until she kicked me in the stomach making me collapse back onto the ground in pain.

"Answer the question!"

I kept my mouth shut as I avoided eye contact not wanting to look at the monster who killed my father.

"Anya. Maybe you should explain the rules to the girl before lashing out on her, and what she said caught my attention. Did you kill her father?"

"I don't know Lexa I have killed a lot of people since coming here but I honestly don't recognize the girl before me. If we have met before she's changed."

"I see. Well at least let me leave the room so I won't have to watch you punishing the poor girl for not doing anything."

"Not doing anything? But she tried to escape!"

"To me it looked like she was just relaxing on the wall to cool down but you can believe what you want."

I tensed as the door closed signaling me that Lexa has left.

"I have a few rules and I expect them to be obeyed. One, you must always do as your told. Two, if you even think of trying to pull that run away stunt again I will not hold back on your punishment your pretty lucky my sister was here to calm me down otherwise I would have put you through hell."

"I'm already in hell." I didn't even know that I had said it out loud until the Alien girl grasped my shirt roughly before lifting me up to face her electing fear to go through me as she punched me hard in the face making me loose conscious as I felt my body hit the ground.
