Stars POV
I woke up to a nudge and expected to see a purple grinning face, instead I saw a pale blue with big brown eyes staring down at me. My eyes were still blurry from sleep and I just smiled back. Just after realising that Marco just wanted to be my friend again I hugged him and said "thank you" I heard a chuckle above me "for what?" He asked. "For being my bff again," I laughed. He fake laughed, it was obvious. He wanted to be more than friends I knew bthat but hoped it would only go to friends.
Marcos POV
I saw her stare up at me sleepily and smile. She hugged me thanking me. I was confused so I asked "for what?" She simply replied "for being my bff again." This broke my heart but as she laughed I fake laughed. I wanted to be more than that. I'll just have to be patient, I thought.
