Taishi-sama and the Noh Player Chapter 8 : It's Over, Seiga

The day of the marriage. Seiga did notice the disappearance of Yoshika, since Kokoro's alive and Yoshika didn't report anything. She thinks that she is dead, or return to Netherworld. Seiga thanked her with a small whisper, and so she took off Yoshika completely from her head. Seiga now only focuses on her mission. Meanwhile, Kokoro is in the kitchen, making tea for Seiga and Miko who's sitting in the garden talking useless things. As planned by Kokoro and Futo, Kokoro places the sleeping remedy in Seiga's tea. Finished, Kokoro brings the teaset to the garden and bring it to Seiga and Miko.
Miko: Thank you.
Seiga: Thank you, Kokoro...
Soon after, both drinks their tea and so Seiga felt sleepy.
Seiga: Ugh... I feel sleepy. Miko dear, I think I'm going to sleep for a while.
Miko: Alright...
Seiga leaves and heads to her room. Miko then tries to find Kokoro, but she isn't in the kitchen nor her room.
Kokoro: Alright, so the next plan is to delay. I've set up my play so everyone will be falling a deep sleep. This should be good.

Meanwhile, Seiga is still sleeping. Miko seems to be preparing up, but Kokoro remembered that she hasn't told Miko about Seiga's intentions. So without thinking, she rushed inside his room to find him only half naked. Kokoro didn't enter the room, just opened it but then slowly closed it with a awkward silence. Both Miko and Kokoro felt awkard, but it seems that only Kokoro is blushing deep red. Miko then after wearing up some clothes, he came to Kokoro's room.
Kokoro: C-c-come in!!
Miko: Hey, Kokoro.
Kokoro: Kyaah!!
Miko: Calm down. But the thing is...
Miko then have a thought to tease Kokoro.
Miko: Did you enjoy the view you saw before~?
Kokoro: E-excuse me??!
Miko: Oh, please. You don't have to hide it.
Kokoro: Sh-shut up! I didn't mean to! I actually came on rush, so...
Miko: If you are, then is there something you wanted to tell me?
Kokoro: *clears throat* Yes. It's about Seiga. I recieved this information from Futo.
Miko: Do tell.
Kokoro: Seiga and her family is actually using you and your family. They used Seiga to marry you so they can gain popularity and power. Futo also says that the Kaku was the 3rd powerful family, under the Hata, and the Toyosatomimi on the first lead. The Toyosatomimi are known for its great power. Kaku was jealous of it, and wanted to rule the land all in hands of the Kaku family. So they forced you to marry Seiga.
Miko: I am pretty aware about the enforcement, but the plot has a connection with her family?! It is unbelieveable. They are not playing fair, and using cheat tactics to win. They could have just declare war and don't have to make others  suffer. This is too cruel, and very unbelieveable. However, if I tell my father I do not know if he will believe this story. What an evil family, and Seiga.
Kokoro: I know. The only thing I cared is that you believed me.
Miko: So are you trying to say that you love me?
Kokoro: Nghh...N- Ye-...
Miko: Say it. I will not judge you for anything.
Kokoro: Y-yes... I do love you... the times we spent together is memorable and I enjoyed it. I was mad and jealous when your with other girls, for some reason. I know that if I didn't tell you sooner, everything will be a mistake.
Miko: Kokoro, I am happy. I am glad you are being honest with me. For the first time I saw you, the times we spent are always the things I love, more than anything else. You are the reason I am happy, Kokoro. And the truth is... I also have, and always have loved you since I have met you in the beginning. I knew that you can set me free from a cage that makes me feel stuck between choices of my life. I just wish I did not accept the proposal.
Kokoro: I know, but I have got a plan on my back so don't worry.
Miko: Really? I am relieved.
Kokoro: I'm glad you are!
Miko: And I have one last thing to say.
Kokoro: What is it?
Miko: Who are you staying with?
Kokoro: Mamizou and my mother. Unfortunately, my mother is blind and unable to move. And since, she can't leave her bed.
Miko: Do you know who assasinated Kawakatsu?
Kokoro: I am not sure...
Miko: I see. Thank you for everything, Lady Kokoro.
Kokoro: Thank you too, and don't call me lady!
Miko: Eheh...

In the evening, Seiga is still asleep in a very deep sleep. While Miko and Kokoro are fully prepared.

At 18:56, Seiga woke up and noticed that she was asleep for a long time. So she rushed out to take bath, and wore the marriage dress which was already prepared by the servants. Seiga rushed out of room, to find the Main Room being full with guests and visitors. With them sitting, facing a stage, Seiga follows to sit on the last cushion. To her surprise she wasn't honoured, or bowed down to her. She sat on the cushion while holding her wrath with pain. Kokoro then entered the stage to start up the Noh act she has planned with Futo. The Noh act lasted for 4 hours.

After the act, it was already 23:01. Everyone was asleep, except for Seiga, Miko, and Futo. Seiga was bored and impatient, while Miko and Futo was completely impressed and in complete curiousity about the Noh act.
Kokoro: The End.

As Seiga got startled, she straights herself up.
Seiga: It's finally over. Now let--
She turned around to find everyone fell asleep, including Futo.
Seiga: Ugh... grrr...!!! That is enough! I had enough of this games!! I will and will murder you right here right now, Kokoro!!
As she said so, she activated and used her sprite. Miko had done so, so he rushed up to the front of Kokoro and Seiga.
Seiga: Out of my way! You two have ruined all of my plans! I WILL MURDER YOU THE SAME WAY I DID IT TO YOUR FATHER!!
Kokoro: So you were the one who murdered my father!! How dare you! Why do you have to bring my father into this mess?!
Seiga: You are correct. And why? Your father is so in the way, and the relationship with the Toyosatomimi is unbelieveable! He always had his suspicion on my family, so I had to eliminate him from my goal. But now I have relized my mistake, and that is I was UNABLE TO MURDER YOU AND YOUR STUPID MOTHER!!
Miko: Do not say such things to her, you cruel of a woman!!
Seiga: Hmph! You don't matter anymore. I will murder her, then you!!
Seiga used her ability to pass from Miko, but Miko turned and so he sealed Seiga's ability so now she is unable to use her sprite
Seiga: Grhg...!!
She stood up, as Miko is preparing a sword for any upcoming tricks of Seiga. Seiga then grabbed and pulled Kokoro into the side of the stage. Futo is awakened with the sound. Seiga then places a knife at Kokoro's neck, while her other hand is holding her body tight.
Seiga: One step or a slash, her head's off.
Miko: Tch...
Kokoro: Why do you need power so much?!
Seiga: Your family has been truly in the way of my rich family. My family has more antique, yet less power! If I am able to kill those who are in my way, I can become powerful!! I "killed" the Mononobe to start the spirit again. Kawakatsu was a real spirit before, but now I was about to murder the Toyosatomimi since now they know every bits of my plan. Even you, Miko! I never loved you, I was doing exactly what my father says!
Miko: I never thought you were this stupid. Your family was killed by other family's comrades, and your the only one left. It was after our proposal, and thought you would have known "everything".
Futo relizes the situation and so prepared a divine arrow.
Seiga: Gah! How dare they... You must have planned this. You know what? Better take off this seal, or her head's the deal.
Miko saw Futo preparing, and knew exactly what he should say.
Miko: I refuse.
Seiga: My! I thought you loved her dearly! Fine th--
As Seiga was about to cut Kokoro's head, she was shot by Futo. Seiga died, and so Kokoro was released. She chocked a little but she was okay.
Miko: Thank you, Futo. I appreciate your pressence here.
Futo: Hehe! 'Thou know my job 'ere!
Kokoro: Seiga's dead. What are we going to do with this body?
Shoutoku: We are throwing her to the river.
Futo: 'Ay! Your Highness!!
Miko: You were awake, father?
Shoutoku: I suppose. Guards! Take Lady Seiga's body and throw it to the river!
Guards: Yes, Your Highness!
The guards leave with Seiga's body, and throw it to the river.
Shoutoku: So, Miko. Tell me who do you truly want to marry.
Miko: I think this is obvious. I wanted to marry Lady Kokoro.
Kokoro: R-really...?
Miko: Yes.
Shoutoku: Then it is settled. Your marriage will be tomorrow.
Every guests was awake with confusion, so Shoutoku had to take the explanation. The next day, Miko and Kokoro are married. They happily spent their entire life together. Miko taught Kokoro to be a Shikaisen, and succeded. Futo is fully a Shikaisen, and continued her job as a consort and a loyal servant. Miko and Kokoro decided to stay at the palace so they stopped coming to school. Everything and everyone lived happily and normal once more.

So this is the finale! I hope it's not that confusing.
