Hi readers! A couple things. First, I finally figured out how to change my profile picture! I am no longer an egg! Second, I realize that I've never mentioned Jayralia's last name, or her parents' names. Her mom's name is Sarah, (unoriginal I know, but I like that name) her father's name is Orion, (like the constellation) and they all have the last name Braise. With that out of the way, on with the story!

——

Third person P.O.V.

A month had passed since Jayra and Zorua had hosted the party, and now they were joined in playing everyday by Purrloin. The purple cat was a great actor, and loved to act out four or five parts in the pretend games they would play. But one day when they were outside, an odd group of people came into the meadow.

A man with long, white blond hair, and this wide collar thingy carried a staff with an insignia that had a P on it, and was followed by three other people who were dressed identically in masks that covered their mouths like ninjas, boots, and round hats. The whole group wore black, and walked with a purpose.

When they caught sight of Jayra, Zorua, and Purrloin, they stopped in surprise. One of them, a woman with short, orangish hair peeking out from under her hat stepped forward.

"What are you doing here?" She asked roughly.

"I live here." Jayra replied, slightly miffed. She didn't know who these people were, or why they were here, and her parents were at work, so she was on her own. "What are you doing here?"

The man with the staff pulled the woman back a bit.

"Now now," he said in a kind voice. "Their's no need to be unfriendly to this little girl."

Speaking to Jayra, he then continued; "We were just out looking for a pokemon partner for my assistant here, and that Purrloin is the one we've had our eye on for awhile."

"You mean you're going to take Purrloin away!?"

"No, of course not. We are simply giving it an opportunity to lead a great life. With us, it will be well treated, and can learn to be strong. Stronger then any other in the world."

Jayra looked at her feline friend. "What do you want Purrloin? You know that Zorua and I have fun playing with you," Zorua chipped in his agreement, "but if you want to go, and battle under a trainer again, then that's fine too. It's your choice, and whatever you choose, I'm sure we'll see each other again."

Purrloin looked at the two best friends she had ever had, and the people who were offering her a new life. Before she came to live in the meadow, Purrloin had had a trainer, but left them because she was put down after every battle, always getting told what she had done wrong, and never given any encouragement at all.

She did miss battling though. The feel of her senses coming alive on the hard, dirt field, and after meeting Jayra and discovering that there were some good humans out there, she was complied to give being under a trainer another chance. She hugged Jayra and Zorua, and slowly walked over to the group of four.

"Thank you for choosing to come with us Purrloin." The blond haired man said. "I promise we'll take good care of you."

The woman held out a pokeball, Purrloin tapped it, and as the red light sucked her inside, she gave a last look to her friends that said everything. "I love you, I thank you, I'll miss you, I'll see you soon. Stay safe, good luck, and may Victini smile upon you. I'll remember you forever, my friends."

Jayra and Zorua smiled as they sent the same messages back.

The pokeball shook three times, then a 'ding' was heard as the capture was complete. The woman clipped Purrloin's pokeball to her belt, then stepped back to join the other two people while the staff holding man bent down so his eye's were level with Jayra's green ones. "What is your name, child?"

"Jayralia." Jayra said with a smile. "Jayralia Braise. What's yours?"

"I am Ghetsis, and don't worry about Purrloin, we'll take excellent care of her."

-Time skip to that evening-

Jayra and Zorua borrowed under the covers. The black fox had been sleeping with her every night since his home was destroyed, and he never really had gotten around to doing anything about fixing it, or finding a new one.

"What do you think Purrloin is doing right now?" Jayra asked.

Zorua shrugged.

"I hope she's happy."

Her pokemon companion gave a nod that meant; "I hope so too."

Third person P.O.V. Focused on Purrloin

When Purrloin was let out of her pokeball, she found herself a stainless steel room with no windows, and only one door. The blond man, Ghetsis, and the woman who had caught her were looming over her.

"Behold, your new partner." Ghetsis said. "Is it satisfactory?"

"Yes." The woman said. "And it will be even more so once we erase all memories and evolve it."

Purrloin flinched at these words. Had she heard correctly? Did they just say erase her memories? Was such a thing even possible? Then she noticed a Dark Stone in her new trainer's hand.

"Wait." Purrloin thought. "I don't want to evolve yet!"

She tried to run away from the stone, but it was too late. It touched her, and she felt it transferring all its power into her body. She grew bigger, her limbs stretched, rearranging themselves to that she could no longer stand on only two of them. Her tail lengthened, and once her body had finished transforming, the rest of the power went into a new move: Shadow Ball.

Liepard, (formerly Purrloin) staggered to her feet, head buzzing. Her new body felt strange, and untested, and when she tried to take a step, she fell back down again. She was going to have to get used to moving on four legs instead of two. While she had been evolving, Ghetsis pointed a beam of pale blue light at her, and when she looked up, shone it in her eyes. Liepard mewed in pain, her mind was becoming jumbled, she couldn't think straight. Why was she here again?

"Don't worry, it'll only feel like this for a little bit." A man said.

She couldn't recall whether or not she had ever seen him before, but when she searched her brain for the answer, all she got was a muttled mess of thoughts. Liepard wished it would all stop. Surely anything could be better then this. When her body gave out and started to drop unconscious, she was relieved because she felt no more pain.

The woman looked at her knocked out Liepard, and frowned.

"Are you sure this won't cause any lasting damage?" She asked.

"Quite sure." Ghetsis replied. "All the light did was scramble the part of her brain that stores memories. She shouldn't recall anything from before she wakes up."

"Good. That will make her much easier to work with."

"Indeed. I wish you luck training her."

The two walked out of the room, leaving Liepard lying on the ground, the only sign of her past life being a tear that slowly traced its way through her fur. When she woke up an hour later, she didn't remeber anything, her promise already broken.

Done! This chapter felt really short when I was typing it, but it's over 1000 words long! Yay! This is of course counting what I said up at the top which used, like, 200 of them, but oh well. I'M SORRY I DID THIS TO YOU PURRLOIN/LIEPARD! If any of you have watched the Pokemon anime Black and White and you see the Team Plasma bits, you'll notice a female character, (I forget her name) who has a Liepard. Now you know who said Liepard is and how she became part of Team Plasma. None of that is in the anime though. The whole thing about how Liepard had her memories erased I made up. That's something I really like doing, making up a plot within a plot that makes sense, but if you watch/read the actual thing then you'd never know there is a second story written on a website. XD Please vote and comment if you liked this! Part 9 coming soon! Also, 84 reads!?!?!?! Yusssssssss! Thank you for using part of your valuable time to read my stuff! You all are the best! 😘
