Chapter 3

*The Day Of The Incident*

Sammy's P.O.V.

            It's been a while since I've heard from Susie. I haven't even seen her around town. I have gone to check her house, but she's not even there. I'm really worried now. Did Joey have something to do with her disappearance? I don't know but I do want to know. Huh? Why did Joey send me a letter? I haven't been in contact with him since I quit. for all he knows, I could have moved back to the alley with my mom since we're both poor. 

            Dear Sammy,

      Hey, buddy! It's been quite a while since we've spoken to each other, hasn't it? I really want to make amends with you for what happened back then. Head on over to the studio whenever you're ready. I'll be waiting for you.

                     Joey Drew

   So Joey wants to make amends, huh? Well, I'll trust him for now, but I'm going to get to the bottom of whatever is going on with Susie and Wally.

~Time Skip~

       *Sigh* I never thought that I would be back here again.

"Hey, Joey! It's Sammy! I'm here!"

"Hey, Sammy! I'm back where the Ink Machine is!"

I start heading back there while also looking for any trace of Susie or Wally.

Joey's P.O.V.

            I can't believe he actually came! I'm so excited to show him what I've been up to while he's gone. No! Don't! You don't want him to find out the truth, do you?

No, but I still want to show him Alice Angel because I know that he always liked helping Susie record her lines.

But how do you think he will react when he finds out that you turned the love of his life into a living cartoon?

*Sigh* Yeah, he would be really mad. especially because he was never able to confess his feelings to her. Alright, fine, I won't show him.

Good. Just stick to our original plan.

"Hey, Sammy. How have you been?"

"I've been fine. Hey, have you seen Susie or Wally recently? I tried to go to each of their houses, but neither of them is home anymore."

Don't tell him! Lie to him.

"No, I haven't. It's really weird. Anywho, I'm really sorry about what happened between you and Susie. It really didn't cross my mind to call her and let her know. Were you two ever able to patch things up with her at all?"

"It's fine and yes, we did patch things up and I was even able to tell her how I felt about her! Turns out, she feels the same way!"

"Oh wow! Congratulations! I'm really happy that you finally worked up the courage to tell her. Now, mind if I show you something that I found out the Ink Machine could do while you're here?"

"Sure, why not? What is it?"

"Just stand right in front of it. I'll activate it so I can show you!"

"What exactly is it tha-*chocking sounds*"

Good. Now, drag him down to his old office...
