the mid october sky was beautiful, today.

serenity and i managed to skip school, once again.

only this time, it was different.

there weren't any tears;

we were just sitting there in the park, cuddled together for warmth.

we sat there for a while, comfortable in each other's arms.

our heavy breathing filling in the silence.

it was too perfect, I wanted to ask her out right then on the spot.

i could've until she interrupted my train of thought, she asked me,

"alex, have you ever experienced love?"

The question had caught me by surprise, but I simply told her, "not yet."
