Chapter 11

Frizabelle

Wednesday – Morning

When I woke from the irritating scent wrapping around me that made glanced at her in her sleep. I smiled seeing how peaceful her face when she's asleep like this.

"Now, you admitted it are still going to reject her?" Lena suddenly snapped me from my morning daze that made me groaned.

"Nope. No anymore." I sighed as I replied to our mind as I tried to slipped away from Ceres' arms around me.

As I did, I went to the bathroom to take a bath and changed for school.

5 am

Seriously this is not me. Being an early bird wasn't my thing but part of me wanted to. I went down to the kitchen after I took a bath.

"Let see what should I cook?" I asked myself while thinking as I looked for something to cook.

I took lots of bacon, opened some tuna in can, hotdogs, eggs and some veggies then heated the pan with cooking oil. I cooked the eggs first as I recalled my mom favourite for her breakfast then bacon along with hotdogs as I thought of Ethan loves hotdogs while Nate was like me loves tuna and bacon with mayonnaise on bread. Yume, Avery and Ceres can eat anything that suits to their taste that made everything in easy way.

When I'm done cooking, Ceres came down to the kitchen without me noticing it. She's a vamp how could I forget that. Anyway, I prepared the table around the kitchen actually we don't use the dining table unless there was huge gathering at home.

"Wake up early to cook breakfast, that's new." I heard my mom teased me as she took some latte coffee that's her favorite coffee while my dad likes black coffee – I mean so plain with no sugar at all; bitter, I know right? Anyway, that's dad for you.

I kept moving around the kitchen as I served them cooked meal that I made without any help aside from the eyes of Ceres who kept watching me do the cooking earlier. Ceres came to me and hugged me from behind then kissed her marked that visible on my shoulder.

I gasped as I felt some tingling feeling from that kiss. I looked at her then gave her a peck on her lips that made mom, dad and Ceres in surprised face. I kinda like their looks by now. Then I made my way to the ref to get my chocolate mint that Ceres always prepared for me.

I wondered how she can make them.

"I took fresh mint herb at the neighborhood farm then melt some my favorite dark chocolate." Ceres replied to my thoughts that made glared back at her for reading my thoughts without my consent at all.

She chuckled. I pouted. They laughed at my reaction.

"Sorry, for reading your thoughts." Ceres sweetly apologized to me as she hugged me from behind again.

"Whatever." I sighed then we both went to the table to eat our breakfast while the others are now wide awake – I mean really wide as they saw me woke up early than them.

I just ignored them and focused myself on feasting on my food.

7:45 am

All of us went early to school, Ceres went to the faculty to informed her emergency leave while Yume, Ethan went to the student council room because Yume was elected as the vice-president while Ethan was elected as the treasurer. Their busy for the upcoming Winter Party for Christmas to New year then Valentine's Day; what a hectic schedule they have. Meanwhile, Nate and Avery left me alone to the locker area as they both went to the library to clean up as they were the library assistants.

I sighed.

"Being alone in the morning makes me want to go back to sleep." I said as I yawned walking alone at the silent corridor.

I kept on walking until I reached the locker area where I went to my locker. As usual, I put my some later book and notes before I took my first two subjects for this morning. Then, I smelled her leaning to the lockers next to mine.

"Miss me already?" I asked her while searching something within my locker.

"Heh, you bet. Anyway, see you later, my queen." Ceres told me then vanished as I closed my locker door.

I smiled then I went to my first class and its chemistry with Avery but I think she'll be here later. Inside the room, I took my spot then glanced out the window. I watched the silent scenery across the green grass where some students playing soccer, practicing some new routine for the cheerleading, and some are just there to wait for the time of their classes. I sighed as I smiled but it was already dismissed as I smelled foul scent across the field – I mean really, a foul scent like a rogue one across the field meaning on the woods next to the school.

I tried to locate the foul scent just by my senses but it was immediately vanished. I was curious, worried and thinking who might be. In broad daylight and not just that with some humans around, so I link everyone within the school if ever they sensed it but they didn't.

"Ceres, did you went to the woods after meeting me?" I asked through our mate link.

"Nope. I'm with Avery after our meeting. Is there something wrong?" she honestly replied and asked me.

"I smelled a rogue somewhere around the school ground." I replied on her while kept on sensing it again but nothing.

"Can you tell what rogue they might be?" she asked with such seriousness and I got the feeling she's worried about me again.

"I didn't say they but mixed. The scent was either vamp or wolf." I replied as I sighed while thinking about it.

"I see, maybe it's a hybrid; it have three scents that can never tell whether its human, wolf or a vampire. But if you smelled a foul scent it might be fallen rouge." Ceres explained to me that made me wondered about a fallen rouge.

"What's the difference between rogue and fallen rouge?" I asked as my curiosity raising up within me.

"Belle, fallen rogue was the worst among the rogue. It's...I tell you later, he's here." Ceres said the she cut off our link.

I tried to link to her or feel her but nothing. I clenched my teeth and my fits then run out the made some of my classmates in surprised and wondered but all I care now is Ceres.

Ceres

I cut off Frizabelle link for a moment as someone rotten entered the school ground. Frizabelle was right; it was rogue but worse than one. In morning simple like a human but the feelings and some overdrive urges that's the thing they can't stop any longer even they can preserved their bodies but not their internal organs. They were like living corpse or zombie but intelligent yet they were very low class to the vampire standards that's why the vampire clan washed them away but for some reason, they've been used as spy or slave by the noble clan. This fellow entered the faculty, it was a beautiful guy around 20's and charismatic one but there was one thing he can never hides – the scent of rotten flesh.

"Can I help you, young sir?" I asked the guy who seems like looking for something or someone.

Good thing I was alone at the faculty.

"Oh, I'm looking for Ceres Langford." The guy said while looking around the faculty.

Oh-ho, the moon spotted me and I think I know now who this guy was. This will be interesting. Let's see what will he do when he found out where am I.
