Harry had apparated from the spot he was standing almost immediately. However I had a good idea on where he was going, so I made the hesitant decision to follow him there--to Ron's flat.
I knew that it would serve no good if either one of them knew that I was there, so I charmed myself so that they could neither see nor hear me.
"Mate, you've got your self all worked up over nothing." Ron was in the middle of trying to calm down Harry when I had arrived "Besides we broke up months ago, so if this had upset you this much...why not talk to me earlier?"
Harry rolled his eyes."Because I haven't gotten the chance to talk to her about it, and it's just not fair, Ron! And you know it!"
"What's not fair, Harry?" he asked "Hermione and I fought as friends, for some reason I thought being together would solve that but it didn't so now we're friends again."
"That's not what I mean."
"I know what you mean."
"And what's that supposed to mean?"
"Well, let me guess...you and Hermione are Head boy and girl this year?" Ron asked, Harry nodded. "Which means you two share a private dorm?"
Harry sighed. "Ron, I know what you're about to say, so just save your breath." he said "I fancied Hermione, but that was a while ago."
"A while ago my ass." Ron said "I've seen the way you look at her and I know how you talk of her...Mate, you've just got to admit it to yourself."
"I'll pass on that one, thanks." Harry said
"Come on, Harry." Ron pleaded.
"When did you become so insistent of Hermione and I getting together?"
"Since you became a love-sick, moping teenager who comes to me with his problems." He said "Now grab a quill and parchment from the table."
"Why?"
"Because remember when Sirius told us he helped your dad write poems for your mum?" Ron asked and Harry nodded "Good, because that's what we'll be doing."
"Ron..."
"I'm sirius" Ron said, smiling at his own joke "Besides, poems aren't hard. Write one of those three lined ones. That'll be brilliant."
"Oh, those five-seven-five things? Yeah that'll be easy." Harry said and grabbed the parchment "Okay so does the five mean five words?"
"Duh, Harry, what else would it mean?" Ron said but Harry just shrugged in response
"Idiots." I muttered underneath my breath.
After that I had decided to leave, as there was a lot said between them and a lot left for me to still process. And besides, if Harry was going to write me a haiku, I would at least want it to be a surprise.
