Just Give me a chance

Taylor's POV

It has been a week since Niall has kissed me and the only time I leave my room is to eat. I am in my kitchen right now eating lunch with my parents. My mom feels sorry for me I had talked to her a few days after the kiss and told her everything, unlike my dad she knows about my passed issues with relationships. My dad is mad at me because he has to deal with Niall everyday and he's told me how much I have hurt Niall by doing this, but he doesn't understand what I have gone through.

"Why don't you at least go and say sorry to the poor boy? You broke him Taylor." My dad asked getting mad

I looked at my mom and nodded. She knew what I meant by the nod I gave her. She walked over to him.

"Paul, I need to talk to you for a moment, please"

"What's it about?"

"Just follow me" she said while exiting the room

"Fine"

I finished my sandwich and grabbed my keys. Paul came back into the room with tears in his eyes and came over and hugged me.

"I'm so sorry."

"It's fine, Dad. You didn't know. Oh and Mom"

"Yes?" She said looking up from her seat

"I'm going to the park."

"Ok sweetie be back by dinner time and are you going to change?"

"Yea I probably should" I said while looking at my outfit I had on.

I changed into a pair of jeans and my love pink blue swatshirt. Then put my grey sneakers on, grabbed my cheetah print backpack. I grabbed my keys I put a grey watch on and headed toward the park.

Once I had arrived at the park, I walked up to my favorite tree and climbed it. I know what your thinking this girl is crazy she's afraid of Niall kissing her and she has a favorite tree? But it's my thinking tree I go to this tree whenever something bad happens in my life. Once I got settled on a branch. I pulled my ipod out of bag and turned on 'Love me for me' by Cher Lloyd. Then started thinging out loud.

"What am I going to do? I like him so much but I can't risk him coming back or from a relationship ending like that. What should I do?" I said as I started to cry again.

Then out of nowhere I heard someone yell "You should give the guy a chance maybe it won't end up like you think it will."

I looked down and saw it was Niall.

"How did you find me?"

" I followed Paul, your dad, home today. But when I asked your mom if you were home she said you were here. I saw your car and heard you talking and answered your questions."

"But Niall you don't understand what I went through in my last relationship it wasn't pretty. I don't want that to happen again."

"I won't let it happen to you. I will treat you just like a prince would treat his princess. Just give me the chance to show you that I am not going to treat you badly."

"I don't know"

"Please, Taylor. Just follow what your heart is telling you should do."

My heart was telling me those butterflies and sparkes I felt in that kiss meant something and that I should give Niall that chance he was asking for.

"Ok I will give you a chance but can we take things slow?"

"Yea" he answered with a smile from ear to ear. "So your saying that you'll be my princess?"

"Yes, Niall I will be your princess."

"May I join you up there?"

"No, I am coming down."

Once I got back on the ground Niall walked over to me.

"Is kissing you going to fast?"

I shook my head. Then he leaned and kissed me. This time I didn't run after he kissed me.

"You know we have to keep this from my dad and the boys right?"

"Ya, your dad would kill me."

I laughed. "Yeah he might"

" I love your laugh."

"Thanks" I said blushing. " I have to get home"

" Ok I will text you later tonight my princess"

"Ok bye Niall"

"Bye Tay"

I blushed when he said his nickname for me. Once I got home I told my mom what had happened and then had to warn her not to tell dad.

"Fine but you do know he's going to find out soon though."

"Ya but I'd rather have Niall alive for a little bit longer." I said laughing "Well I'm going to head to bed Night mom."

"Night Taylor"

Once I got into my room my phone buzzed.

From: Niall

Goodnight my princess

To: Niall

Goodnight Niall

Then changed into my 'I love Niall t-shirt and shorts, climbed into to bed and fell asleep.
