Halloween

Taylor's POV

It's been 3 days since McKenzie has been born. I went home the next day and luckily none of the paparazzi found me so Niall has no clue that McKenzie even exists. I plan on keeping her a secret until Niall gets back. I know it's not the right thing to do but I just don't want to have him worrying about me while he is recovering. But today is Halloween and I'm taking all the kids trick or treating, obviously I will not be able to handle 8 kids on my own so my dad and mom are going along to help. Last night I skyped with Niall and he was getting prepared for surgery and I could tell he was very nervous which made nervous I just hope all goes well. I woke up around 6:30 to the cries of McKenzie. I got up and walked over to her crib that was next to my bed and picked her up.

"What's wrong baby girl? You hungry or just miss mommy?"

She kept sucking on me so I figured out she was hungry. I went downstairs and heated up a bottle and fed her. Once he was burped and half back asleep I put her in her baby swing and she was out. Then my phone started to ring and woke her up. She was crying loud and I looked at my phone it was Niall calling. I picked up McKenzie and shushed her while I answered Niall's call.

"Hi baby, how was your surgery?"

"It was great. Doctor's saying I should be home in 5 days or less it was in better shape then they thought. Who's that crying?"

"Oh it's just Lylia. She lost her doll you got her so I'm just trying to calm her down and get her back to sleep."

"Aw my little princess maybe I will buy her another before I come home."

"Aw hun just worry about your recovery right now she will be fine."

"I'm still getting her one Taylor you know how much she loves that doll."

"Okay baby just please focus on your recovery. Hold on on second she's back to sleep."

I set McKenzie in her bouncer and went back over to my phone.

"Have you decided on the kids costumes?"

"Yes, we bought all the costumes yesterday. Mary is being superwoman, Brille is being a grey kitten, Lylia is being a strawberry, and all the boys are being the ninja turtles."

"Sounds like they are going to have a lot of fun."

"Yeah wish you could be there with us and I will send you plenty of photos but you really just need to focus on your recovery right now."

I heard a door open and footsteps coming down the stairs.

"Mommy I'm hungry."

I looked and saw that it was Mason who had woken up which was normal he is the early riser out of all the kids.

"Sure, want to talk to daddy while I make you breakfast?"

He smiled so bright and even his eyes had a sparkle in them when I asked him that.

"Plwase mommy"

"Hi Daddy"

"Hey buddy, I miss you so much."

"I mwss you too daddy."

"What have you been up to lately?"

"Well mommy had a tummy ache a few days ago and a baby came out!"

"What! Mason let me talk to your mommy."

"Otay"

Oh man I was waiting to tell Niall about McKenzie till he came back. Now what am I going to do.
