Lately, it seems like we're always busy. Aside from work or school, we also have to check Instagram, stay up to date on all the happenings in the world, keep track of what we eat, count the steps we take every day, and share what we do on all online platforms. There's not a free moment in our day because we always have a goal to be striving towards.
Now, take a breath.
Is this goal really something worth achieving? Do you have to take more steps a day than Aunt Becky, eat fewer calories, think of the best joke to share on Twitter, and create the most aesthetically pleasing picture on Instagram showing your perfect -- stressful -- life? Do you always have to be doing something?
Consider this: there will always be people who have more, work more, are happier, are a size smaller, are more attractive, have a more perfect life. That doesn't mean you have to be the happiest, the richest, the prettiest, the most talented, and the most perfect, and that you have to spend every minute of the day working on these goals.
Instead, try being bored.
