Chapter 9

**ASHTON'S POV**

I was waiting at the airport for my parents to arrive. I haven't seen them in months, it's going to be so weird having them home for a few weeks.

Their flight was due to arrive in about 10 minutes.

I've arranged for Leah to be at mine in about an hour. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees mum an dad.

"Flight 3 has now arrived" The voice boomed though the airport. That's their flight.

I stood at the door waiting for them, twiddling my thumbs.

I saw my mum and dad standing there waiting for me and I ran up and hugged then both.

"Hello to you too" my mum laughed as I pulled back.

"How are the twins" she asked me as we got into my car.

"They're good, they're 6 months old now."

"Wow! Has it really been that long since Leah had them" My dad said in shock.

"Is she still with Niall? I always knew they would be good together"

"Well-I have a girlfriend myself now too." I say keeping my eyes on the road.

"Really! Who?"

"Kayleigh.."

Her and Liam only went on two dates and he didn't call her back.

We've been together for about two weeks now.

"Who's Kayleigh?"

"She's Calum's cousin you'll have to meet her."

We pulled up outside my house and Leah's car was in the driveway I told them to be quiet.

"Hey, Leah sorry I took longer than I thought."

"It's fi- MUM! DAD!" She said coming out of the living room running up to them and smothering them in a hug.

"Where are the kids?"

"They're in the living room."

**LEAH'S POV**

I forgot to tell my parents that me and Niall ain't together anymore and that I'm now with Luke.

Luke was sat on the couch holding Zoey and Troye.

My mothers face lit up at the site of the kids.

"Where's Niall? Why isn't he here?" My mum asked looking sort of disappointed.

I looked up and Luke and gave him an apologetic look and he just raised his eyebrows at me.

"Well mum." I started as she look Zoey "Niall and I ain't together anymore."

"Excuse me?" She asked still looking disappointed.

"We haven't been together for a while now.." I trailed off not wanting to make eye contact with her.

"So who's helping you with the twins I mean you can't look after them alone!" I could tell she was getting mad now.

Luke out his arm around me and I looked up at him smiling.

"That's the thing... I'm with Luke."

"So you let a boy get you pregnant and then leave him for one of your brothers friends! For god sake Leah I know you're not good at keeping men but could you not of worked things out with the father of YOUR CHILDREN!"

"What did you just say to me!" I said through my teeth.

"Mum please shut up!" Ashton saying

"You have to go with him! Out of all people, why can't you be normal!" She scoffed and turned to walk out the room.

"Me be normal? Mother you have had 3 husband and you insist me and Ashton call this one dad. Yeah he's been there my whole life but how am I to know if he is my actual dad or not? It could of been some fling you hand. So don't you dare stand there and tell me to be 'normal'! Me and Niall didn't work out but he still sees the kids I'm not replacing him with Luke me and Luke just work! You can either accept that or get the fuck out and go back to America!"
