I am so sorry for the delay in the update, I've been really busy recently with school but I hope that it will get back to normal after this. I know this update is quite short as well which I apologise for but I hope you enjoy it and please don't forget to vote and comment!)
**LUKE'S POV**
It's been a week since the twins were born and everything has just settled down. They have had to go back and forth to the hospital a few times just to make sure their health is okay seen as they were so early.
Ashton and I have been working on the nursery for the babies and so far it's going okay.
We have been painting their names on the wall and putting up their cribs and all the other furniture.
Niall has been over almost everyday to see the twins as well and I think he's doing up a room for them at his place so they can stay there sometimes too.
Leah plodded down the stairs with Troye in her arms.
"Morning" I say giving her a kiss on the cheek to make sure not to get any paint on her or Troye.
"Morning" she yawned.
"Have you had breakfast?" She asked me and Ash.
"Yeah we have." Ashton replied turning and smiling at his little sister.
"Is Zoey still sleeping?" I asked as she went into the kitchen and put the kettle on.
"Yeah, Troye was awake when I got up so I'm going to feed him just now." She smiles down at the baby in her arms.
**NIALL'S POV**
I'm getting to have Zoey and Troye for the weekend for the first time today.
I'm really excited, the first time I can have them all to myself and look after them and show that I can be a good dad.
I get changed and pull on a pair of vans grabbing my car keys from the table in the kitchen and get into my car.
After about half an hour of driving I pull into Leah and Luke's driveway and get out of my car.
"Niall, hey!" Leah says answering the door, welcoming me with a hug.
"Come in" she says stepping aside to let me in.
"Do you want a cup of tea? Or coffee?"
"Tea please." I say sitting down at the kitchen table.
Leah put the kettle on and sat down opposite me.
"I packed a bag with something's you'll need for the weekend and changes of clothes for them as well." She says as the kettle pinged signalling that it had boiled.
She made the tea and sat a cup down in front of me and kept the other in her hands.
"Alright Niall?" Luke asked walking in.
"Hello." I reply
"I've put the twins in the bouncers." he says turning to Leah.
"You can stay as long as you like." Leah says to me taking her seat at the table again.
"How's the past week been then?" I asked her taking a sip of my tea.
"Restless, but one of the best weeks of my life."
"You can have them when you like Ni, if you call me and tell me first though, it doesn't just have to be the weekend. Just because I'm with Luke now I don't want you to see less of them because they need their biological dad. "
We both finished out teas and Leah spoke again.
"Come on!"
"Where we going?"
She pulled me out of the kitchen and through to the living room where I saw my two beautiful babies laying on a blanket on the floor, with Ashton kneeling beside them.
I walked over to them and picked them up one in each arm and starred at them, they both had huge blue eyes that resembled mine.
Let's hope I can do this whole parenting thing properly.
