Chapter 10

**LUKE'S POV**

I take Zoey from Leah's mum and take the kids up to their crib and put them down.

I get back to the to of the stairs and I can hear everyone still talking in the living room.

I only caught the end of what Leah was saying.

"Maybe you're right mum maybe he's not the one for me." I heard her say.

I turned around and walked into Leah's old room slamming the door.. slightly behind me.

**LEAH'S POV**

"Maybe you're right mum maybe he's not the one for me. But I love Luke and I couldn't care less for what you think. I didn't like him when you's first got together." I say gesturing to my step dad who I have to admit is more like my dad but hey it had to be said.

"I'm not staying here any longer! I'm going back to America. You're a disgrace to this family Leah."

"And you're a fucking great mum. Goodbye." I say walking to the door and shutting it in her face.

"Ashton where's Luke?"

"He went up the stairs, I didn't see him come back down." he replied bluntly and the turned so he wasn't facing me anymore.

I went upstairs taking them two at a time. I went into where the twins cribs were and Luke wasn't there. I checked if Zoey and Troye were okay and then went to try find Luke again.

I got to my old bedroom door and went to open the door but it wouldn't budge.

"Luke?"

"What."

"Can you let me in please?"

It took a couple of minutes but Luke finally opened the door enough for me to get in.

"What's wrong?" I asked looking at his tear stained face.

"Maybe we just ain't right for each other after all." I took a sharp breath and tried my best to try and understand what the hell had happened to him in the past 10 minutes for him to stay this. But I couldn't.

"Luke what the hell I thought you were happy."

"So did I but things change, people change. I can't look after babies, who am I trying to kid. I don't want to be a father, not now anyway. I still have a life to live I don't want to be stuck down.
