Chapter 6

**KAYLEIGH'S POV**

I walk out of Calum's house and walk to work. After about 20 minutes of walking I finally arrive at Starbucks. I

put my bag and jacket through the back and put on my apron and rush behind the counter.

"Hi, welcome to Starbucks what would you like?" I ask picking up a cup ready to write the order.

"I'd like to take you out..on a date.. somewhere." the man spoke.

"Em.. sorry but I don't know you." I replied awkwardly.

"You sure about that?" He lifted up his hat and removed his sunglasses.

Liam Payne. I stare into his gorgeous brown eyes and I swear I'm drooling.

I snap myself back to reality.

"You being serious or is this just a joke?" I ask trying not to make a fool out of myself.

"No really I want to take you out somewhere. Or we might have to actually go to my place so we ain't swamped with fans or that." I say silent not quite sure what to say.

"Look here's my number, let me know what your answer is later." He says handing me a bit of paper and then leaving the shop.

I was left standing there in complete shock and disbelief.

**LUKE'S POV**

"-But it's you I want now. Only you. I want to be Leah Hemmings. I want to one day have kids with you-" I crash my lips onto Leah's and after a good few minutes we both pull back gasping for air.

"Do you still love me?" I ask and mentally slap myself across the face.

"Of course I still love you, I never stopped."

I open my mouth to speak and her phone started to buzz in her pocket.

"Sorry, two seconds." She says with an apologetic look.

"Hello? Kayleigh calm down. What do you mean he-? SERIOUSLY LIAM ASKED YOU OUT!" She let out a high pitched squeal and looked at me, pure excitement all over her face.

"Kayleigh I'll call you back okay? Bye!" She hang up the phone and put it back in her pocket.

"Sorry, what were you going to say?"

"Do you know what today is?" I ask her and then instantly regret it.

"July 16th" she states.

"Yeah.. It's our year anniversary today and-"

"Your birthday." She says brightly "Did you think I had forgotten?" She asked raising her eyebrows.

"Maybe.."

"Give me a minute." She grabbed her car keys that were sitting on the arm of the couch and ran out to her car. Seconds later she walked back in with a small, square bag.

I sit down on the couch again and she sits right beside me and hands me the bag.

These a rectangular envelope inside it. I take it our and open it pulling out what was inside.

"Y-You got me Pierce The Veil tickets! No wonder I love you!" I practically squeal giving her a kiss on the check.

"There's something else." She says taking something from behind her back.

"I made this, it's not much but it includes every photo we have together from when we were about 5 or 6 until last week."

She hands me the scrapbook and I flick through the pages. The first page is me and Leah at Ashton's 6th birthday party. I'm dressed in a batman costume and she's dressed as Pocahontas.

I get to the very last page and there's the one of us last week holding the twins in our arms. And beside the picture Leah's wrote something.
