he walked home feeling fuzzy in my arms and all over. aaliyah tend to have that affect on him, especially after they held hands. she asked to walk him home but he declined, them being neighbors and all, but that wasn't the real reason. the real reason was almost so embarrassing the thought made him want to gag. taehyung had promised his mom he would spend time with her and her new husband. as much as he loathed the two of them he was only doing it for haseul, his little sister. she was too small to understand what was going on and he wanted his family to look fitting to her. he wanted everything to be okay for her, especially with him leaving for university next year.
taehyung arrived home and walked to his house to find it silent which was was odd in particular. usually he'd come home to loud music and his mother drunk dancing on the table or something of the sort but it was quiet. he walked into haseul's room to find her laying down in her bed with her stuffed elephant, who haseul called lulu, tucked in her arms as she softly snored. seeing his little sleep with the plush taehyung smiled reminiscing about how she got it. aaliyah and taehyung had went out to the fair with haseul for her fifth birthday, it was the only thing she wanted to do for her birthday with just the two of them. aaliyah had won the stuffed toy for haseul and ever since it's been glued to her hip.
taehyung walked out of her room into his mother's. he had expected to find her there passed out with a wine bottle in her hand and snoring, but instead she wasn't there. with the sight of his mother gone taehyung's blood began to boil. she left a seven year old child at home by herself? and on top of that the door weren't even locked. it wasn't until now that he realized how he wanted his mom there. he balled up his fist and ran up to his room slamming the door behind him.
anger issues, taehyung had them and he loathed that trait about himself. everyone seemed to think anger issues are some kind of cute personality trait and he hated that everyone believed so. his rage had ruined so many friendships for him that every time he got upset it would bring a pang of sadness. usually he would keep himself away from things that would lead him to discontent actions but lately it seemed like that wasn't working. for so long he tried to keep everything behind him and hold it back but now it seemed like nothing was working. images of his mom were rushing through his brain of memories how she would leave him all alone by himself at her age. he dug his nails into his hands and felt shooting pains across his palms. why doesn't she care about us? he thought. taehyung grabbed the rainbow stress ball that laid on his desk and squeezed it until it popped and the insides were gushing, falling onto the floor.
usually when he went on anger tangents like these he'd do something terrible but he was holding his composure, he was so close to doing something he would regret. but his eyes began to get heavy and fell asleep with the anger still pulsing through his veins.
