The next morning I woke up and I couldn't wait for it to be night. I already had my bikini picked out and everything else I needed. I decided that I'd bring my guitar with me too, Bonfires by the beach were so pretty and rom
antic. Tom was all I could think about last night. I could've sworn he was flirting with me but I shouldn't get too excited afterall we were just friends, I wanted to be more but the pain of my past didn't let me desire that. I needed to figure out what his true intentions were with me. Dakota knew a lot about him, I wanted to be careful. Besides I wasn't really ready for a relationship. I wanted to take it slow and see where this thing lead. I sang him my favorite song, I don't know why though. It was a pretty romantic type thing but I guess in the moment of being under the stars with him reminded me of it. (Sigh) What am I thinking? Tom wasn't in love with me and I'm not in love with him. I have to take this illusion out of my head, but why does my heart insist on beating so fast when I'm near him? Why do the butterflies surround my stomach when I see him smile? Why do my hands tremble when I'm so close to him? I wanted to call Jewels and talk to her but I didn't know if she'd understand me. I'll give it shot, I picked up the phone and dialed.
Jewels: Good Morning Dreamer. I was waiting on your text message. How'd it go with Tom?
Genesis: How did you know?
Jewels: (Giggle) I didn't until now.
Genesis: Ugh. You're terrible.
Jewels: Well now that I know, Tell me what happened!
Genesis explained to her.
Jewels: Yellow. Aww. That's so cute. I think he likes you.
Genesis: I don't know. He invited me to a bonfire tonight. At the beach.
Jewels: Ohhh. You better wear that red bikini. That bikini looks killer on you, wear that thing around your waist too. You'll look so pretty!
Genesis: I'm way ahead of you Jewels.
Jewels: You like him! Don't lie. Genesis, I know you better than anyone.
Genesis: I think I do. I just don't know if I'm ready...
Jewels: What does your heart say?
Genesis: My heart says "Maybe". You know how I feel about falling in love. I just feel unsure. I feel confused.
Jewels: Does it feel right when you're with him?
Genesis: Yeah. It does....
Jewels: Then give it a chance and take it slow. You'll be fine.
Genesis: I hope so.
Jewels: Do you want us to stand by?
Genesis: Umm..If you want?
Jewels: We'll be at the amusment park on the pier.
Genesis: Sounds good.
Jewels: What time?
Genesis: At 7.
Jewels: Text me when you're there.
Genesis: Aye Aye Captain. (Giggle)
Jewels: (Giggle) Okay. Bye.
Genesis hung up.
Meanwhile with the boys.
