After breakfast, Salem and his wife hand gone back to their room to prepare to meet the queen. It has been a while since she'd last requested an audience with the pair, it seemed to come out of the blue to have to request one with her. Assuming the Zilant army had anything to do with the meeting in Germany, they needed any bit of help possible, there was no guess on how dangerous it could be. They were well aware of each nation that wanted nothing more then for them to not exist, having more than one problem with what the pair studied as well as the trouble that their books and potions brought to said counties. Even if Salem and Corvina didn't see what they did as any trouble at all, it was there to help in their mind. Though if they had looked at it from another point of view, then they could see a problem, but not to the extent of those governments wanting them dead. Which is why they were appreciative that Queen Hestia had offered to personally protect them, as long as they lived in the country and offered any knowledge to help the citizens in need, doing some work if she needed them for anything. It was that agreement that mainly kept them from traveling like the couple wanted, but it really came down to the safety of their family and their only child at the time.
Once the two were prepared to leave, Corvina picked up the now four month old infant and kissed his forehead softly. "The timing for all of this is terrible.. I know that Alphonse will have no idea we are gone, but I still hate the fact of leaving him behind.. Before you say anything, I know it is for his safety, it does not make it easier to go." She gave a soft smile looking at their son, taking her eyes off him the moment Salem rested a hand on her shoulder. "He will be just fine, besides it should only be a week at most. The only reason it should last longer is if this agenda they have runs longer, even then he is in safe hands and will be here when we return." The navy haired warlock replied with a smile, kissing his wife's cheek. "Which I understand, this is a part of what we do after all. But lets be honest, meeting with her majesty is going to be such a pain.. That woman is beyond religious with that god of hers, on top of all that she knows I could care less.. Yet still goes on that spiel, I can only keep my mouth shut for so long Salem." The witch gave an aggravated sigh, setting the sleeping baby back in his crib and covered him up gently. Salem couldn't help but chuckle at the woman's reaction, he understood not being much of a religious believer himself, but didn't let others believes bother him as much as his wife did.
"Once this meeting is brought to her attention, I guarantee you that speech of hers will end quickly. This would be more important than trying to get you on her side about a god or some higher power, trust me on this. Plus all we truly need from her is a bodyguard at best, the information about this government meeting is more of an interest to her. Seeing as the letter was not sent to her immediately on their end, I would assume she would be questioning all of this. Only after we have returned with the information on our end should you worry about her trying to convert you my dear." Salem gave a smile and picked up their two suit cases. "Now let us be going, before it gets too late and the weather does not permit for us to fly. You know the staff will keep an eye on him. Our dear daughter has her own to worry about for the time being, plus the girls might be interested in watching Alphonse for a while." Corvina nodded giving one last look at their son before walking away from the wooden crib. "I know, I suppose I am just delaying the inevitable. Then again it has been a while since we have been away like this, almost a nostalgic feeling is it not?" She added taking her own bag from her husband as they left the master bedroom, leaving the french style doors open just a crack incase their son began to cry.
Eventually making their way to the main large doors of the manor, Sullivan had been waiting holding the pairs coats on his left arm and their scarfs on his left. "After all this time, it will be rather odd seeing you two off again. With the current weather I hope these will help, there has been word that a storm is heading this way. If I may, putting off leaving England for a day would be the best option if said words speak truth." The older man said offering the clothing to the two, who'd set their bags down and took their respective coat and scarf. "Thank you Sullivan, you know you do not have to assist us like this. We are not my grandparents, as much as we appreciate your help with everything else." Corvina smiled softly, putting on her thick coat, even if the cold didn't effect them too much normally, flying would be a different case. "After seeing her majesty we will see what the weather is like, you know how much that woman can talk.." She added rolling her eyes placing a hand in her pocket. "But to ease your mind, if it is dangerous we shall return and leave the moment there is a decent break in the said storm. Perhaps if we were not taking a trip over frigid waters than perhaps we would go either way."
