( Okay okay okay! I have been MIA for a hot minute and I know this isn't a five chapter update but it's as much as I can do at the moment.
In the last few months that I've been MIA, my transmission has blown and I've switched to the midnight shift where I work and have been working 40+ hours a week when I'm only scheduled 32, so if that tells you anything about how busy I've been, I've been hella.
I have the next chapter in the works right now and I'm starting to chip away at this writing block. However, I'm also hammering out a rough draft for a legitimate novel that will one day be sent to publishers so that will, of course, take precedence.
Anyways I hope you enjoyed this chapter, thank you for your patience. )
"Ooh, I'm sorry," she said, her laugh sounding over all of the other voices in the arcade. "Is the sound of my winning to loud for you?"
Her face scrunched up in the cutest way, her eyes crinkling around the edges. Her full lips twisted into the most beautiful smile and her arms shot up into the air as the ball landed in the '500' ring. Again.
"Okay, okay," I said, raising my hands as I admitted defeat. "You are the ski-ball champion."
"And don't you ever forget it," she said, winking before draping her arms over my shoulders.
She was going to be the death of me.
"You know, I've closed down many places," I said, slowly snaking my arms around her. "Bars, restaurants, hell even a doctors office once, but I've never closed down a Dave 'N Busters."
"You've never even been to a Dave 'N Busters," she giggled, rolling her eyes at me.
"It's not my fault they don't have them in Australia," I whined, grabbing her tickets and pulling her to the door.
"I still can't believe you flew me all the way home for a Dave 'N freaking Busters."
She laughed and shook her head at me as I pulled her out the door and into the elevator, pressing the ground floor button. As soon as the doors closed I had her up against the wall of the elevator, my lips making their way to her neck.
She moaned under my touch and her tiny fists gripped the sweatshirt I wore, then made their way up to my hair and tugged. I groaned and reached over to the control panel, pulling the emergency stop.
"Lucas!" she hissed, trying hard to hold back a giggle. "You can't do that."
"Sure I can," I cooed, reaching down and grabbing at her perky little ass. "I'm Luke Hemmigs."
Her head threw back in laughter and I grinned, taking the opportunity to pick her up and wrap her legs around my waist as I continued my gentle assault on her neck. Her laughter cut short as she hitched in a breath and her fingers dug up into my curls again.
I loved the way she reacted to me, the way she pretended to be shy and innocent and sweet but was still more than ready for me to take her right there, against the wall of an elevator.
"I love you," she moaned, directing my lips where she wanted them. I nipped at the skin of her swollen breasts gently, using one hand to pull the collar of her shirt down. "So much," she whimpered as I brought her nipple into my mouth, rolling it and pulling it taut with my teeth.
