It was my first day at a new school, Bloomingdale High. Bloomingdale is a place in the suburbs, faraway from my old neighborhood. I stared at my newly cut hair in the mirror. There was no use of cutting my hair when it'll grow back just next week, but I did it anyway. I also looked at my uniform that I absolutely hated. It was a skirt, and if you know me, you know I don't like skirts. To take away from the not-so-me part of this out fit, I put on some combat boots that matched the navy blue skirt.
I ran upstairs-my room is in the basement-and spotted mom on the couch sleeping. I looked at the plate and noticed two waffles on it and a note that read 'I made breakfast for you on your first day of school :)' I smiled and looked back at mom. She always pushes herself. I grabbed the waffles and put them in the microwave and placed the note outside the microwave. 'You need breakfast more than I do' I wrote.
I slid on my leather jacket, making sure it had my trusty swish blade in the inside pocket. I swung my book-bag which had 'Sad Boys Club' written on it in white. (A:Just got that book bag today so might as well. And yes, I am a girl with a sad BOYS club book-bag.)
I walked out the door and on my way to this school.
...
The buzz all around school was that there was a new girl coming to Bloomingdale High. Some guys hoped to have a new girlfriend and some girls hoped to have a new addition to their cliques.
...
When I entered the school, everyone stopped and stared. I rolled my eyes at the nosey snobs and headed to the receptionist desk, that is, until someone interrupted me. A girl with silver hair approached me with a malicious look in her eyes, yet, grinning innocently. "You're new around here?" She asked. "Yeah, what's it to ya?" I questioned looking her dead in her aquamarine blue eyes. She was quite beautiful though, it kinda made me jealous. "Hi, I'm Mirajane, but you can call me Mira!" She smiled turning her tough attitude to a bubbly one.Meet a bipolar student. Check.
"I'm Erza" I replied. "I suppose you're looking for the receptionist desk" Mirajane concluded, I just nod in response. "I'll show you!" Mirajane said. She seems like someone who could help me start over. I mean, that is why I came here, might as well make a new friend.
We arrived at the receptionist desk where a black haired man stood. "This is Mr.Mashima!" Mirajane introduced. "Konnichiwa, Erza-San!" The man waved. "Ohayou" I said simply. "Your locker is locker 122, here's your schedule." Mr.Mashima gave me a paper.
"Looks like we got the same classes this year!" Mira cheered. I just showed a small smile. We both went to our lockers, and put everything inside. We walked to our first class, math. When we entered, I spotted a swarm of girls around a desk. "Kiss me Senpai!" Some of the girls said, the others said, "Let's get married!" I rolled my eyes, must be another player.
I sat down beside Mira and she smiled at me expectantly. "Now, let's talk business. Why did you really come here?" Mira asked. "Come again?" I leaned in. "I mean, everyone at this school doesn't come here for anything. We all have a reason to escape. It may not seem like it since it looks so pretentious and all" Mira shrugged. "Why'd you come here?" I asked curiously. "Pinky promise not to tell?" She said, I looked at her in her eyes. I then realized how serious this was:
I wrapped my pinky around hers and she smiled brightly at me. "I was known as a freak in my old neighborhood. They called me the she-devil, not because how intimidating I was, but because how different I was from everyone else. They were perfect and to them I wasn't" she explained, I just held her hand through it all. "I came to this school to erase my old reputation" I said quietly, but enough for her to hear. I felt her squeeze my hand. "You'll love my friends" Mira smiled.
I pulled away, smiling softly at her. "Mira, we're finally in the same math class!" A blonde girl cheered. "Luce, come over!" Mira waved. The girl-so called Luce- ran over to us and sat. She wore a wide smile on her face. "Hi! The names Lucy Heartfillia!" She outstretched her arm. I hesitantly shook it. I've never met such enterprising beings. "M-My names.." I started. "Erza" we said at the same time. "I know, Gramps told me all about our new student!" Lucy smiled. I nodded. "Are the teachers in this school always late?" I joked.
"Mr.Clarkson is usually 2 hours late which stretches school time" Lucy explained. Then I felt a nudge on my hair. I turned around and saw a blue haired boy with a ran tattoo across his eye, smirking cockily. "The hell was that for?" I asked. "Nice hair, Scarlet" he said. "Jelly-Senpai, pull my hair!" The girls from before called out. "What're you, Prince Charming?" I said in a teasing manner. "I guess you can call me badass" he went along with the joke. "Whatever," I said as I rolled my eyes and turned back to Lucy and Mira.
"Whose he?" I asked. "Jellal Fernandes. Football quarterback. You know where this is going" Lucy shrugged. I scoffed. "I hate guys like him" I leaned back into my chair. "Don't talk to my Jelly-kun like that!" One girl with brown hair and olive skin (Minerva) said to me. "And who are you exactly?" I asked her with a faint chuckle at how she thinks I'm supposed to be scared of her. "The girl whose going to ruin your life" she said. "Ha, sounds pathetic to me" I looked up at her and her posse. Lucy snickered and Mira smirked.
"Hate to be you and the Addams Family" she insulted as she gave Lucy a quick glare. I stood up and made eye-to-eye contact with her. "I hate to be you. You've got nothing better today than to worry about everyone else" I retorted, expressionless. "Wait til everyone hears about the new girl and how violent and aggressive she is" the girl smirked, "spreading rumors? At least you found something better to do than spreading your legs" I smiled sarcastically and took a seat, knowing I was finished with light work.
"Oh!" Some boys gaped. "W-Whatever!" The girl rolled her eyes, dumbstruck. "C-C'mon! Now!" She snapped her fingers as her and her posse scurried to their seats.
I saw Jellal in front of me, smirking. "What're you looking at?" I asked, just a bit flustered. Why was I flustered?! I dunno. Just then, the boy exited the classroom. "I gotta get to class," he said. Was this not his class?
