Taehyung stood in front of me, eyes wide and dressed clad in black from head to toe, causing his light hair to stand out. He looked beautiful in a way that he shouldn't have and I felt my face start to heat up.

"Angel, what are you doing here?" He asked, sounding extremely confused.

I turned away from his piercing glare, looking down at my empty glass instead, wishing I could drown myself in the melting ice cubes.

Two weeks.

Two weeks had gone by and he still made me feel like this.

"Angel." His voice cooed gently, as he placed his palm against the side of my face, making me turn my head to face him. I met his gaze, feeling shame wash over me when I thought back on how I had treated him during our last interaction.

Taehyung frowned, "Why do your eyes look like that?"

Suddenly, the hostess from earlier popped into my mind. I wondered if the essence suppressor I had taken gave me dull and lifeless eyes as well. I pulled away from his hand.

"Do I have hostess eyes?" I asked curiously.

Taehyung looked taken aback at my response. He looked cute when he was confused, I noted.

"I'm drunk." I explained to him with a sheepish smile. I watched as something dark washed over his eyes before disappearing as quickly as it had appeared.

Taehyung flashed me a crooked smile that stole the breath out of my lungs.

"Tae?" Jin asked suddenly. I turned towards him in surprise; I had forgotten Jin was still here.

Taehyung's expression suddenly became very serious and he leaned in to whisper into Jin's ear.

"This one is mine." He whispered.

If I wasn't so drunk I probably would've given what he had said more thought.

Jin stared at me for a moment before nodding and walking over towards two men I didn't recognize on the other side of the bar.

"Mind if I join you?" Taehyung smirked, gesturing towards the empty seat beside me. I nodded.

"A bottle of Tito's and four shot glasses." Taehyung told the bar tender, who simply nodded.

Moments of silence passed over us as I found myself unable to say anything. I didn't mean to sit there quietly, but I feared what I would say to him in my intoxicated state.

"C'mon, I know you can't be friends with demons, but can you not talk to them either?" Taehyung said, a hint of bitterness laced in his words.

I sighed. So he was upset about our last encounter too.

"About that, Taehyung I'm–"

"If you're about to apologize, don't."

The bartender came back, bottle and shot glasses in hand. He placed them in front of us wordlessly.

"I have friends to call me Tae. I don't need you to do so just because you feel bad for me. You have no reason to feel bad for me, trust me." Taehyung smiled darkly.

I felt my eyebrows furrow themselves. The cold smile didn't suit him, I decided.

There were a lot of things I wanted to say to him, yet the only thing that came out of my mouth was, "You have friends?"

He let out a laugh. "Yes, I have friends."

"Can I meet them?" I asked.

Taehyung raised an eyebrow and tilted his head, gesturing towards Jin and the two men that stood beside him.
