Had you told me two months ago that I was going to become friends with a demon I probably would've laughed. If you would've told me that I would voluntarily spend almost every day with him, teaching him to help others, I probably would've even called you crazy.

But considering my current situation, it was hard to not to think that the crazy one was actually me.

I was waiting nervously inside a small human club, back pressed against a wall. I would've been moving around the establishment if it weren't for the sheer number of people inside. On earth, humans can't hear, see or feel angels. However, the same couldn't be said when the roles were reversed. If a human were to run into me, I would, unfortunately, feel it, and I didn't feel like being helplessly shoved around, especially if no one could hear my protests.

Taehyung stood beside me, leaning languidly against the wall. Demons didn't face the same kind of problems us angels did, as I had come to find out. They actually had power over whether or not their human forms were able to be seen by mankind. I could only assume that Taehyung was currently visible as more than a couple of people had spared a few longing stares at him.

"There! The guy in the grey shirt, talking to the girl in the purple dress." I pointed, singling them out easily.

"Are you sure?" Taehyung asked, eyes rolling over to look at them.

The girl was young, probably somewhere in her early twenties, sitting on a stool at the bar. The man, however, was far older. The girl sipped on her drink nervously, only lifting her mouth to let out a nervous laugh or two as the man spoke to her, either unaware of the girl's discomfort or simply not caring. He had been slowing inching his way closer to her, a grimy hand coming up to brush up against her arm or leg every now and again.

The scene rested unpleasantly in your stomach.

"Yes. I'm sure." I affirmed.

Taehyung nodded in response and pushed himself off the wall, pushing his way through the crowd of dancing bodies to make his way to the girl.

I felt my nerves spike slightly as I watched Taehyung reach the two individuals.

"Michelle! Long time no see! How have you been?" Taehyung exclaimed loudly, placing himself in between the older man and girl.

At Taehyung's words, the girl jumped, frowning slightly at Taehyung's sudden insertion. From my angle, I could only see the back of Taehyung's head but something about the girl's demeanor towards Taehyung changed as her eyes suddenly widened in understanding and a smile took over her face.

"Oh my god! Um... James, hi! Wow, funny seeing you here! How have you been?!" The girl pretended, finally understand that Taehyung was trying to save her from the man's advances.

"Michelle? You said your name was Katrina?" The older man suddenly butted in, sounding annoyed. Taehyung turned his head over his shoulder to send the man a quick tight-lipped smile before turning back over to the girl.

"Great. Hey, listen, I'm here with my sister and her boyfriend and I know they would love to catch up with you again." Taehyung said, and I could hear the smile in his voice.

The girl immediately hopped off of the stool, "Yeah! Okay! I'll go now!"

"We have a table in the back, I'll meet you there!" Taehyung chimed, watching as the girl agreed and hurried away, without so much as a glance towards the older man who was now scowling at Taehyung.

"What the fuck was that?" The man said angrily.

Taehyung rolled his eyes, "Whatever, dude. She wasn't into you. Take a hint."
