I giggled as Athena landed on the couch next to me. Her innocent blue eyes staring into my hazel ones, already luring me into doing something I know she's not allowed to do.
"Mommy." She smiled, her small hands grabbing mine.
"Yes princess?" I chuckled.
"Can I have ice cream?" She asked, knowing full well I would deny her wish.
"No, it's 8 and you should be in bed missy." I stated, standing up and picking up a pouting 5 year old girl.
"Not fair!" She whined, causing Luke to pop his head into the living room and laugh. "Daddy!" Athena gasped.
"Baby!" Luke mocked her, taking her from my hands and walking into the kitchen.
"If you give her ice cream I will divorce you!" I called out, earning a laugh in return as I made my way to Elisabeth's room.
I slowly opened the door, smiling as I saw my little girl snoring softly under her pink blanket. I slowly pulled the blanket up a little bit before kissing her forehead and making my way to the kitchen, only to see Luke feeding our daughter ice cream. I sighed before shaking my head, earning a smirk from the idiotic boy I call my husband.
"Mommy, when are we going to see Aunt Sha and Uncle Ashton again?" Athena asked, causing me to stop what I was doing.
None of us have talked in 2 years, meaning Elisabeth and Athena were just old enough to remember the last time they saw them. We just simply fell out of friendship, all of us did really. The only ones Luke and I still keep in contact with her Calum and Ashley, everyone else went and did their own things.
"I don't know," I replied. "But you're going to bed." I said, picking her up and carrying her to her small bedroom. I placed her in bed before Luke took my place and sang her to sleep softly. *
