A/n: Hey again you lovely readers! I didn't think I'd be updating this story this quickly but here I am! I have lots of ideas for it. This chapter might be a tad short though, but like I said the story will pick up later on! ⚠ Slight cursing in this chapter btw ⚠
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP.....
That was the irritating noise you woke to early in the morning as you slowly opened your eyes then slapped you ralarm clock in order to turn off.
You were wondering why you had set your alarm in the first place, before realizing that it was the day of the entrance exams in order to get into UA.
"SHIT...that's today?!" You said, after realizing. You got up quickly from your bed to go take a shower and get ready for the day.
After fixing your decently long (h/c) hair after your shower, you did your make up nicely since you wanted to make a good empression on your first day (or you can choose not to wear make up of course).
You grabbed your bag and quickly put whatever supplies you needed for the exam in it before quietly heading downstairs. Your father was still sleeping off course, after a night of drinking, or whatever he was out doing, so you quietly made your way to the kitchen to get some breakfast (of your choice), before quietly heading out the front door.
It was fairly cold out, so after locking the door, you threw your hood of your jacket over your head and shoved your hands in your pockets.
You figured you'd take your time walking to the school, since you honestly didn't live that far away.
Small time skip since I feel lazy
Finally, making it to UA after climbing that huuuggeee hill, you looked up at the school in awe, not expecting it to be THAT big. Like damn boi.
You hear a little yelling behind you after a while, but you really weren't paying attention to whatever the heck was going on since you were still staring in awe of the massive school.
That is...until someone so rudely bumped into your shoulder.
"Watch it extra," someone said to you with a raspy voice. You simply looked at him while he looked back at you, while you didn't even bother to move from the position you were in.
"Maybe you're the one who should watch where they're going," you sarcastically say, with almost no emotion on your face.
After saying that, the angry spikey blonde grabbed you by your collar and slightly lifted you off the ground, "you want to say that to me again bitch?" he said, while staring at you in the face. His eyes almost like daggers.
You kept your cool, since you have been in much worse situations than this, and honestly, you couldn't care less.
"You heard me," is all you said, while looking back at him with a smirk, letting him know you weren't scared of him, before grabbing his wrist and slightly singing him with your quirk.
He quickly let go, almost surprised from the intensity of the heat that your hand gave off, and looked at you somewhat shocked.
"See you around! Or not," you sarcastically said to him while walking away.
People were staring at you in awe, since they saw literally everything that happened. You had kept your cool through the whole thing and even had the nerve to be a smartass. You simply kept your smirk on your face and confidently walked to the entrance of the school, holding onto your backpack's strap.
You eventually get inside to the place where everyone is suppose to meet, and find a seat somewhere in the back. Luckily there weren't that many people there yet, so you were able to get a good seat to your liking.
Eventually, everyone else gathered in the room and took their seats as well.
"What's up UA candidates! Thanks for tuning into me, your school dj!" Announces Present Mic, as lights turn on over the stage. "Come on and lemme hear ya!" He continues to say.
Complete silence
'Well this is awkward,' you think to yourself.
"Keeping it mellow huh??" Present Mic continues saying to break the silence. "THat's fine, i'll skip straight to the main show! Let's talk about how this entrance exam is gonna go down ok?" He finishes saying before, "Are you readyyyyy? Say yeaaaaaa!"
Yet another complete silence
You simply sit in your seat, though behind you, you hear some excited muttering. You can barely make out what they're saying, but it's something about them being excited about Present Mic. You then hear a very familiar raspy voice behind you say, "Will you shut up," most likely directed to the boy mutering. You can't help but be curious, and slowly look behind you.
'Well speak of the devil,' you thought to yourself. It was the angry blonde from the entrance of the school earlier.
The angry blonde had his arms crossed, and was clearly annoyed by the boy's muttering next to him, but then he saw you and emediately started glaring at you, and you couldn't help but give him the middle finger with a slight smirk on your face. The angry boy clenched his fists as he simply said "tstk," before you turned back around in our seat, your smirk still on your face.
Present Mic then continues to explain how the exam will "go down".
The exam seems easy enough from his eplanations, and you weren't too worried, since you were confident in your fighting skills. Close combat as well as ranged attacks. No sweat.
After a bit of Present Mic's explaining, a boy in front of you wearing glasses, suddenly raises his hand and brings up the fact that there's apparenly a mistake on the instructions, and then turns around and calls the boy out behind you for muttering the entire time.
The muttering boy behind you quietly appologizes, and people around you start giggling at the situation.
Present Mic calms everyone down, then continues to answer the boy's question that he had.
"Thank you for callin in with your request! The fourth villain type is worth zero hero points! That guy's just an obsitcal we'll be throwing in your way. There's one in every battle center. It's not that it cna't be beat, but there's kind of no point. " Present Mic says while answering the boy's question.
'I'll probably still go after that villain and defeat it for the fun, knowing me,' you thought to yourself confidently.
The boy with glasses then thanks Present Mic by bowing and says to continue.
"That's all I got for you today! I'll sign off with a little present. A sample from our school motto! As General Napoleon Bonaparte once laid down, a true hero overcomes life's misfortunes. Mhmm...now that's a tasty soundbyte. You ready to go beyond? Let's hear a PLUS ULTRA! Good luck! I hope you practiced hitting more than just books!" Present Mic says while concluding the presentation.
You honestly were super stoked to show what you were made of. This is what your grueling training during your whole life prepared you for. This is where you could make your mother proud and become the hero you wanted to be.
