After being saved by Todoroki, his sister, and their family friend, they brought you to their house. You were pretty out of it for the most part, still being weak and sore from everything that happened. Plus Inori's healing quirk drained some of your stamina, so there's that as well.
Todoroki's POV
We finally arrive to my house, and I try waking (l/n) up just to let her know we made it, but she barely opens her eyes. She looks at me and gives me a weak smile after hearing me tell her we're here, then she nods back asleep.
I sigh, knowing she'll be too weak to walk on her own, so I get out of the car then carry her in my arms up to the house. My sister and Inori right behind us, carrying (l/n's) bags, and I was hoping my old man isn't home. I wasn't in the mood to explain everything to him.
As I open the door, still with (l/n) in my arms, my two brothers run up to us, curious as to what happened.
"This is (l/n), and she's a classmate and friend of Shoto's," Fuyumi starts to explain." There was an incident at her home, making it unsafe for her to live there, so she will be staying with us until further notice," she finishes saying.
My brothers agreed and were about to run off before I asked where our old man was. They said he had hero work to take care of, and won't be back for a while. I was satisfied with that answer of course.
"(L/n) is staying with me, so I can keep an eye on her," I stated, looking at Fuyumi and Inori, not taking no for an answer.
"Alright then, she is your friend after all. You know her better than us," Fuyumi said. "We'll put her bags in your room then," she continued.
Fuyumi looked at Inori before asking, "Would you mind staying the night, to heal (l/n) just incase she needs more healing?"(The line "I need healing" that Genji says from Overwatch popped up in my head as I wrote this, dammit lmao).
"Of course, anything for you guys. I'd be glad to help anyway I can," Inori says.
I head up to my room, once getting there I place (l/n) on my bed and put the covers over her.
Fuyumi and Inori finished putting (l/n's) bags in my room, then look at her, passed out in my bed.
"Let us know if she needs anything, ok Shoto?" Fuyumi says to me.
"Thanks sis," I simply say, before Fuyumi and Inori leave, and I turn my attention back to (l/n) again. She looks somewhat sad as she sleeps, and I feel the need to protect her again. She's already been through enough.
I decide to go get ready for bed, since there's still school tomorrow..I sigh, wondering how (l/n) will feel when she wakes up.
While I'm in the bathroom getting ready, and after a few minutes, I hear a scream, which sounded like (l/n's), so I rush back in my room.
Her face looked like she was in pain again, but she was still asleep. She was tossing and turning, then yelled, "No, please!"
Soon after, my sister, Inori, as well as my brothers ran in after me, probably concerned by the scream, as well as startled.
"What happened??" Fuyumi asked concerned.
"I think she's having a nightmare," I say before rushing to her. I had to get up on my bed to reach her, and tried waking her up.
"(L/n)! Wake up, it's just a dream! Your safe!" I say while gently shaking her awake.
Normal POV
You wake up from your dream..Your dream that was your reality not too long ago, your father attempting to kill you. You lay motinoless in the bed as you wake up, eyes wide open, trying to come back to your senses and hyperventilating a bit.
You then realize where you are, and see Todoroki hovering over you with a concerned expression, his hands on your shoulders, from trying to wake you up. You then look to see Fuyumi and Inori in the doorway, along with two boys who looked related to Todoroki and Fuyumi.
"What..h-happened?" You ask Todoroki, having trouble breathing again, like before.
"You were having a nightmare," he replies, letting your shoulders go, leaning back relieved, yet still had a concerned look on his face.
"Oh..I'm s-sorry, was I being loud..?" You asked, wincing from slight pain as you place a hand over your mouth.
"You screamed, which worried us sick darling," Fuyumi started to say.
"I'm very s-sorry If I woke anyone up," you say quietly, embarrassed even.
"There's no need for apologies. Inori, go check on her wounds, her breathing doesn't sound good." Fuyumi finishes saying.
You simply lay flat in the bed, trying to breathe normally, hurting a bit from your injuries. Todoroki simply was kneeling next to you in bed quiet, his head kind of looking downwards.
Inori walks to your side and heals your wounds more. You feel yourself able to breathe normally again without any pain, and your injuries feel much better now, almost back to normal.
"Thank you guys, for everything," you say, as Inori finishes, and starts to walk out of the room with Fuyumi and the two boys, who you assumed to be Fuyumi and Todoroki's brothers.
"If you need anything, let us know," Fuyumi says.
"Thank you, but I'm really OK now," you say with a mostly fake smile, though you made it look real for them.
They closed Todoroki's door, leaving the both of you alone. You looked to Todoroki. He still had his head down, kneeling next to you on the bed. There was a bit of silence before he started speaking.
"You know, you don't always have to act strong around others," he said with his head down, voice somewhat low.
You stay quiet for a few seconds, surprised by his comment, before getting the courage to speak. "I do, so that I can make other's smile, and I don't want to be a burden either, and have others take care of me." You said quietly, voice somewhat cracking, trying not to cry again.
He slowly looked up to look you in the eyes with a serious face, "at least let me take care of you (l/n)," Todoroki said, care and concern in his voice.
"Todoroki.." you say, surprised by his comment, yet thankful. You embrace him in a hug, tears slowly starting to fall down your face.
He paused for a bit, seeming unsure of what to do, before returning the hug. "Call me Shoto.." he said quietly.
"Then call me (y/n)," you say back, trying to stop crying. "Thank you Shoto," you continued to say, as you feel Shoto tighten his arms around you, while you nuzzled your head into his neck.
You both stayed like that for a bit, but the both of you were starting to feel tired.
Shoto stayed with you of course, in case you had another nightmare.
You were happy, and considered yourself lucky to have met Shoto.
A/n; oof sorry, at least there was a ton of fluff in it~ I'll make it up to guys in the next chapters as well. Get ready for more of (y/n's) sassy attitude and memes as well.
