How to Catch a Kitsune

Prologue: Assignment

I kick the double doors wide open. I launch myself into the air using the nearest chair, doing multiple spins and somersaults, landing in a very superhero-ish fashion on the table. I then pose in the craziest JoJo pose i could think of and yelled.

"HELLO AGAIN!"

Into the giant empty conference room which is only occupied by a strange goat-wolf-humanoid hybrid.

"Took you long enough"

He said as he flips through his tablet.

"I have my responsibilities as the president of a flourishing nation" i retorted as i stepped down the table and started walking towards him.

"Responsibilities my ass, you're not the only alpha male in the room" he replied in a very jokingly manner.

"I thought there's supposed to be only one alpha male?" As i slowly build up speed.

"Yes, but it doesn't matter since i am the better alpha" he said while putting down his tablet.

As i break into a sprint, i responded " Oh yeah? Well let's see who's the better alpha after you get a taste of this!" I swing my right arm forward, axe suddenly in hand. The axe head heading straight for his head, an-

Let's stop right there. Now you may be wondering what is happening right now. But first, we must go back to where it all started.

It was year 201X. The sudden appearance of Monsters in the state of Oregon led the world into a state of panic. They were against it at first, but after some persuasion, they eventually calmed down and accepted them. 

Their leader, Silias, the goat-wolf-humanoid hybrid from earlier, became president of the united states... somehow. Don't ask why, it's probably better if you didn'y know.  Anyways, after the inaugural speech, Silias disclosed that all the mythologies in the world, from Greek to Norse to even Judeo-christian myth, are all real. They apparently went underground after ancient humans forced them a few thousand years ago, and Silias is on a mission to call them all back. Relax, it isn't for world domination. 

They want to help humanity because of the mess they did to the humans long ago, which led to them being sealed. They have helped technology progress so much that they have already made a space elevator right where the monsters first appeared which is used as their headquarters which is where we are right now...

Now where do i fit into all this? I, Ryan Oligos, was just messing around with my YouTube account uploading all kinds of videos. People say that this gets in the way of my political work, but i say why not? It's fun! 

That is when i found out about the monsters attempting to persuade the world that they aren't bad. I, being the malevolent being that i am, decided to help them out by doing multiple let's plays with them. Weird i know, but it was surprisingly effective and people loved it. After convincing the world that they are not dangerous, we continued in our own ventures. I became president... somehow... a few months before Silias, and relations have been going smooth

Oh, right. Where were we again?

Right before the axe hits Silias' head, he suddenly pulled out a sword out of nowhere and deflected it upwards. With me being disoriented, he took advantage and sent a fist flying into my gullet. I fly across the room and hit the wall.

"That enough for ya?"

"Yep, *cough* v-very much so" I replied as i writhed on the floor in confusion and pain.
