Chapter 7: Explore

A girl with long light blue hair stood in front of me with her hand out. Her ears are pointed, bright blue eyes, and a beaming smile. She's so pretty! I shook her hand.
"Uh yea we are. Not to be rude or anything, but are you an elf?" I ask looking at her.
"Yes, I am. I'm a water elf from Azure. And what might you be?" She asks looking over me curiously.
"I... honestly don't know yet." I said looking down. I feel out of place. I'm the only one here who probably will never know what or who they are or what power they hold.
"Oh don't worry. I can help you unlock your power if you want." She said smiling at me.
"Really? You'd do that for me?" I said to her without hiding my excitement.
"Yep. I'm always willing to help those in need."
"Ugh, get a room." Said Juniper looking at us with an annoyed expression.
"I honestly agree." Said a voice from behind Juniper. Woah, she's pretty too! A girl with long, straight black hair and glasses was standing in the doorway.
"I'm Ares, nice to meet you."
"Woah.." Juniper stares at Ares. I think she's just as awed as I am, if not more.
"No need to introduce yourselves. I heard you all through the door." She says coming into the common room.
"I suppose you're new to this area. Welcome to the land of Wisteria." She says with a serious expression. Pretty as she may be, she's probably the most mature teenager I've ever met!
"Thank you Ares." I said with a smile.
I notice that Juniper is still staring at Ares. Wait a minute, is she... blushing? Her cheeks are a bright red! As Elucia and Ares are having small talk, I slid over next to Juniper with a sly grin.
"You have good taste Juniper." I said to her mischievously.
"S-shut up!" She hides her face, flustered. I suppose this can also count as revenge for trying to burn the hell out of me. The intercom bursts with a loud, bubbly voice of what sounds like a young girl.
"Heeeeeeello everybody! We would like to welcome all of our precious freshman to Godspeed Academy! We would like all of you to please come to the auditorium ASAP! Please and thank you!" Then the intercom cuts off.
"I guess we should get going then." Elucia says heading for the door. The rest of us follow Ares as she's the only one that knows her way around this place. Weird, I knew she was smart but I didn't think she could memorize a whole map of a gigantic building! We make it to the auditorium and we sit down. Me and Juniper sit with Asahi with me next to Juniper. Next thing I know, a strange guy in a black hoodie sits next to me.
