I kept walking along the pavement at a fast pace.

Head down, I made a mental note of the footsteps following me. The footsteps followed the same pattern as I cut through alleyways and navigated through the practically empty streets of London.

When I arrived at the alley with the dead man on the stained sofa, the man following me started to breathe quicker. My fine tuned hearing picked up the sound of many men breathing.

Surrounding me, 25 different agents came out of the shadows. With loaded guns and stoic faces, they all faced me. The shining lights from their guns shone on me as I stood my ground.

My face showed no fear, as I felt none while looking around and analysing the agents. Large symbols of SHIELD covered the front of their uniforms, as one man walked further out. He was tall but shorter than me 5' 9" maybe. He was wearing a suit and had brown hair, styled neatly.

Next to him, a woman emerged. Much younger than him, she was holding her hand out, with fingers stretched forward threateningly toward me. She had curled brown hair, which fell to her shoulders, brown eyes and was wearing a suit which was similar to mine except for the fact hers had SHIELD written on it.

I took off my trench coat to show the black, specially made HYDRA uniform and my two batons on my belt.

All eyes where on me, as i took my weapons out of my belt and put my thumbs on the scanners, causing it to light up and extend, rivaling the light of the guns of the agents.

The woman then raised her other hand threateningly as she took a step forward.

The man however - who held no weapon - put a hand on her shoulder and gently moved her forward as he stepped almost protectively in front of her and made eye contact with me.

"Hello" he spoke, his voice steady and laced with authority.
"I'm Philip J  Coulson head of SHIELD and this" he motioned to the woman "is Daisy Johnson, agent of SHIELD" she was the woman I was gathering Intel on. No wonder she was hostile.
"I was warned by one of my agents of your whereabouts. Pretty public for a HYDRA agents like you don't you think?. Obviously we have to take you in and we are more than happy to be gentle if you surrender yourself now."

I felt the electricity coursing through my batons as I lifted them up, clicking my neck, as I took my battle stance as to show them I was prepared for a fight.

"Well then I guess you leave me no choice" he reached into his inside pocket of his blazer and took out a small pistol. It appeared to be glowing blue. An ICER.

I scoffed and lowered my arms, deactivating and returning my batons to my belt as he cocked the gun and shot it at me.

I stood confidently, shoulders squared as the shot rung through the alleyway. The bullet ricocheted off of my shoulder and hit the wall close to one of the agents.

Confused Coulson looked at Daisy who looked at him back as he muttered "Ok...", and nodded curtly as she nodded back.

Amused, I turned to look at Daisy. She looked at me emotionless except for the small amount of confusion and anger clouding her features.

A small smile graced my lips as she once again lifted her hands up towards me.

The powerful force that escaped her hands was absorbed by my body and did not make me even flinch.

"What are you?!" She shouted in frustration.
A few seconds of science passed by.
"Are you inhuman?!" She shouted when I did not answer her question.

"Oh no.. I am something way worse than that" my Scottish accent rung through the alleyway as Coulson looked at me surprised.

"Well I apologize" he began as put his gun back into his blazer pocket, trying to appear unafraid "but I guess we are going to have to open fire"

At this the agents surrounding me loaded their guns as I took out and activated my batons once again.

"Agents..." Coulson began but was soon cut off by a loud shout as a man with short slightly curly brown hair ran in and stood protectively in front of me with his arms out and shouted
"Don't shoot! Don't shoot!" At Coulson  In a Scottish accent similar to mine.

"Fitz?" Coulson answered calmly "What's going on? Do you know her?"

With pleading eyes he answered
"I do... So please... Please- just don't shoot" his voice cracking on the last three words.

I stared at him dumbfounded as he turned around and faced me. My 5' 11" frame towered over his 5' 8" body as he looked up at me with watery blue eyes.

"I'm sorry... Please don't resist. I don't want to hurt you"

I flinched as he placed some hand cuffs in my wrists and gently led me to a Quinjet with a SHIELD logo printed on the top.

Coulson ordered the agents to get into one of the other Quinjets, as he and Daisy followed me and Fitz into the Quinjet.

Once inside, they removed my weapons, as I made no attempt to stop them. I realised that the safest place from HYDRA was with SHIELD.

They sat me down, as Daisy and Coulson went to pilot the ship, leaving me and Fitz alone with a small woman with shoulder length brown hair and light brown eyes.

Fitz sat across from me, as he stared at me and the woman sat next to him. I stared back confused, as to how why he would protect me.

I analysed him and the girl as they both sat looking at me.

She was short, 5' 4" I presume. She sat close to fitz and sort of leaned towards him for support. Their closeness was obvious.

After 10 minutes of silence, fitz decided to speak up.
"Do you remember me?"

"Should I?" I answered back.

He looked hurt.

Silence followed.

I sat upright and continued to watch Fitz as he rubbed his forehead, seeming to be confused and upset.

The woman noticed this and put a comforting hand in his back as he slouched forward with his head in his hands.

The only sound came from the engines as we flew for another 40 minutes before landing in some sort of underground base.

The giant concrete doors of the landing pad opened as we approached.

A few words from Daisy talking into a headset was all that was said as we touched the concrete floor of the SHIELD base.
