"And here we see a wild (Y/n), exiting the beasts cave after suffering a great loss." Andrew says in a really bad Australian accent as I dragged myself out of the classroom using only my arms. I groaned agreement.

He raises his eyebrow. "Uhh... Can you walk?"

I groaned again. He let out a slight chuckle.

I suddenly felt myself being picked up? "WHAT THE FUCK? PUT ME DOWN!" I demanded as he slung me over his shoulder.

"I mean you were the one that said you couldn't walk," He said matter-of-factly.

"Uh, no sir, I groaned which meant I could walk but I didn't want to do stfu."

"Did you just say s.u.f.t. instead of shut the frick up?"

Oh yeah he's one of those people that don't swear. "Actually it's shut the fuck up so stfu," I said grinning from my place over his shoulder.

He scoffed. "How dare you use such fowl language in my presence?"

"How the fuck dare she not."

Of all the people to come to my defense it just has to be that asshole.

He walked up and planted himself next to Andrew. "Y/n." He smiled like he was greeting an old friend.

"Evan," I responded through clenched teeth with a fake smile.

He turned toward Andrew. "So me and a few other guys were about to head to the diner around the corner. You down?"

Andrews eyes lit up. "Yeah! Sure!" He turned to me with a big goofy smile. "I'll see ya later, okay?"

I nodded with a small, sad smile. He chases after Evan, leaving me standing in the middle of the hallway. I look around sadly for a way to escape this awkward situation. A poster on the wall catches my attention. I walk up and read it.

"Are you thinking about doing the play, (Y/n)?"

I turn towards Delirious and shrug. "I mean, it would help me take my mind off," I look down the hall, Andrew looked like he was having a blast with Evan and his pals,"that."

Delirous followed my gaze and sighed. "Come on, I'll give you a ride home."

I smiled up at him. "I'd like that."

---

Silence. Not a word exchanged. The entire ride. That is, until he drove past my house. "Del, you just drove past my house."

"I know." I raise an eyebrow at him. He sighs, "I'm taking you somewhere."

"Where?"

His eyes squinted indicating he was smiling. "You'll see~" he sang.

The houses turned into trees. "Why are we in the woods?"

"Be patient."

"Please don't take me to the haunted graveyard where no one can hear me scream."

He let out a breathy laugh, "I would never."

"Uh-huh."

"You don't trust me?"

"I do."

"Then shhhh."

We drove for a few minutes before we came to a stop in front of an old abandon building. Delirious gets out the car. I follow his actions. "What are we doing here?"

Delirious doesn't answer. He takes my hand and gently leads me toward the house. He pulls out a key and inserts it into the lock. "You being quiet is creepy," I comment.

He turns to me. His eyes squint more as he motions me to go inside. I step inside the old, dark building. Delirious closes the door, causing all light to flee. I don't freak out. I trust him. The lights come on. I take in my surroundings. The place was scorched. This place wasn't old at all, just burnt. A picture on the wall grabs my attention. From the parts of it that survived, I can see 4 figures. I jump when music suddenly starts playing. I turn around to see Delirious messing with a radio. He looks at me. His eyes were... sad. "You lived here didn't you?"

Instead of answering, he walks up to me and holds out his hand. "Dance with me?"

I look at him unsure. "You want me to dance? With you?" He nods.

I take his hand. He spins me around and pulls me to him. "I have a lot of memories here, and I sure as hell wouldn't mind making new ones."

"Ahhh, so that's what this is all about."

He gasped. "Absolutely not."

I make a face. "Sure."

"I'm serious. You are a lady and you deserve to be treated like one."

I smirk at him. "Well aren't you sweet."

The song changes to something more upbeat. Our movements become more upbeat as well. He stops and lets go of me. "Want to look at the rest of the house." I nod. He grabs my hand and races through the house and up the stairs, with me stumbling behind him.

He opens a door and allows me to walk inside. The first thing I notice is the walls. What once was most likely a beautiful shade of blue was dark and covered in dust. Holes were in the roof. The room was in ruins. A bed was placed in the middle of the room. A worn teddy bear was on top, covered in dust and most likely spider webs. "This was my room." I look at Jonathan and smiled. I flopped down on the bed. A cloud of dust kicked up, causing me to cough. Delirious laughed and lied down beside me. I looked over at Delirious. His silence told a thousand stories. "I lost my dad to the fire," he mumbled.

Silence. "Mine left a long time ago. I got dreams after that. They quickly became nightmares," I replied. Delirious looked at me with tears in his eye. I frown when he turns away.

I sit up and reach for the bear. I hug him from behind and put the bear in front of him. "Don't cry, Jonny," I said changing my voice. I don't know how, but I heard him smile. He takes the bear from me and tosses it to the other side of the bed. He then flips over and looks at me. Without another word, he wraps his arms around me and pulls me to his chest.

"Let's go home, (Y/n)."

I don't know... I'm just trying to get back into this I think... maybe...
