*Amber's POV*

"Kirstie," I said slowly. "Are you serious?"

"YES!!!" She said. "We really met them and then they hung out with us and we went on a tube slide and I shared a tube with Louis and we played truth or dare and Liam asked me for Layla's number!"

"What?!?!" I was so mad at Layla right now. She promises to text me at lunch and she doesn't. Then she meets ONE DIRECTION and she doesn't even flacking tell me??? But I couldn't blame her, I wouldn't have taken the time to text either if I had been with One Direction.

"Kirstie? When did you guys meet One Direction?"

"About 20 minutes after lunch. Why?" So Layla still could have texted me at lunch. She just forgot.

"You just met One Direction Kirstie, I want to know ALL the details!" I might as well hear about it from Kirstie, since Layla obviously didn't care to tell me.

We went into my room and sat on the bed. "Tell me everything," I demanded, grinning.

About ten minutes later, I knew all about it. And Layla had definately had time to text me at lunch after she ran into Liam. Whatever, I'll talk to her later. "Ok, cool. I'll be down for dinner in a few minutes," I say getting off of my bed.

"Wait! When we were playing truth or dare, Liam asked her a question, and she got really upset. I don't know why. She ran to the bathrooms and didn't come out until we left. That may have something to do with the way she's acting right now. Don't be mad at her. Everything will be fine."

Kirstie gave me a reassuring glance as she headed out the door. You know, for a little sister, she was really good at comforting me.

"Kirstie!"

"Yeah?"

"What did Liam ask her?"

"He asked her if she had a boyfriend."

Now I knew why she was so upset.  He asked her about her boyfriend, and she probably isn't over him, I mean whatever it was must have been pretty upsetting when it happened. Plus, he asked her if she had a boyfriend and later got her number from Kirstie. He was obviously interested, and maybe Layla wasn't over Will and didn't know what to do. I was about to go talk to her when "DINNER!" our moms yelled. She came out of her room, without her ipod this time, and she smiled at me.

"Hey Amber, we gotta talk after dinner. I need advice," She said.

"You got it." I smiled at her and we linked arms, walking down the stairs.

Dinner was akward. We all kinda sat there in silence. "So how was the water park girls?" My mom said. Of course she was bringing it up, probably wanted to make me feel bad for not going.

"Fun." Kirstie said, and Layla stayed silent. It was like this for about the next ten minutes.

"I'm going to my room," I announced.

"Me too," Layla added and looked at me.

"Me three." Kirstie said. Our moms looked at us odd, but let us go. Kirstie understood the fact that we needed to talk, and headed to the room she was staying in. We plopped down on Layla's bed. "Ok, spill." I said. "First: Why didn't you text me? Second: I know you met One Direction, so tell me EVERYTHING about that. Third: What did you need advice about? Ok, go!" Layla laughed a little.

"Ok, first, I'm sososososososo sorry I forgot to text you. So here's everything that happened. I was throwing something away at lunch and bumped into Liam. I resisted the urge to fangirl, and after talking a couple minutes he invited Kirstie and I to hang out with them in about half an hour, at a slide on the other end of the park. I went back to Kirstie and told her all the details, then we went to the bathroom to fix our hair and stuff. I mean I know we're at a water park, but it was still One Direction! We came out and told the moms we were going off by ourselves. By that time, we had only three minutes to run all the way across the park to the slide. I completely forgot to text you, i'm so sorry."
