*Amber's POV*
I woke up on the couch, Harry making toaster waffles in the kitchen. I got up and walked over to him. "Morning," I said with a yawn.
"Morning!" He replied, much more awake than I was. "I hope you don't mind, but I was thinking we could go out to a movie today? You mentioned wanting to see that one Christmas movie that just came into theaters."
"Of course, that would be great!" I replied happily. I went to get dressed, wearing one of my favorite Christmas sweaters. After breakfast we walked to the cinema across the street, that was the nice thing about living in a retirement home in the middle of town.
When we came out of the cinema after the movie, it was snowing lightly. "That was a great movie," I commented. "Thank you for taking me." Harry smiled at me. "No problem Amber."
Of course I just thought we were friends, I didn't expect him to fancy me, especially after his wife's death. But I was wrong. I'm always wrong, aren't I?
Two Months Later
Christmas and New Years had passed quite quickly, and tomorrow is already valentine's day. I was taking down holiday decorations, while Harry was out running errends.
Harry and I go out all the time, and he told me he had feelings for me. He said Jesy told him to find someone, and he loved me. So we are a couple now! We were going out for dinner tomorrow night, and I was very excited.
I woke up in the morning and remembered I had dinner with Harry tonight. I had gotton him a card, but that was all. I was sure he wouldn't mind that I didn't have a present for him.
Throughout the day I listened to all my old favorite music, a lot of it being by Selena Gomez. She had a lot of songs that kind of set the mood for Valentine's day. Soon enough, it was 5:00. Harry showed up at my door with a rose. "Ready to go love?" He said grinning happily. I nodded, and we walked out the door.
We took a taxi a few miles farther into town, and arrived at the resturaunt. The waitress took us to a table, which was by a window with a nice view. Did I mention that the resturaunt was on the tenth floor of a building? Well the view was great, it was overlooking the town park, which was still covered in a blanket of snow.
We talked through dinner, lauging mostly about all out fun dates in the past two months. Then Harry suddenly got serious.
"Amber, I know we haven't spent a lot of time together, seeing that we have only known each other for two months and all, but I really love you. I feel like we have already been through so much together, and it has all been amazing. I have no doubt that you are the girl Jesy wanted me to find."
I couldn't beleive what he did next. He knelt down.
"Amber, will you marry me?"
I nodded a yes, and I was already crying as he put a ring on my finger. It was beautiful.
I honestly don't know how long we have left. Maybe one year, maybe twenty. But it doesn't matter, because all that matters now is that the one I really love is in my arms.
A/N- Hi guys! This was the last chapter of the book, so sorry it was so short. There will be an epilogue, but that's it. So thank you all who read my story, it means so much to me. I know fanfics are often a bit longer, usually at least 20 chapters. But I already have the next one planned, so I just kind of wanted this one to be short and sweet. I hope it was! The news on my next story will be in the epilogue, which I will post sometime tomorrow. I love you all so much! xxxxx
