A/N- Ok guys, just wanted to warn you, that I think this may be the saddest chapter in the book. I am literally in tears writing this, just imagining this happening. Read on and find out why I'm crying :'(

30 Years Later

*Amber's POV*

I pulled on my sweats and a tanktop, laced up my running shoes, grabbed my ipod and headed out the door, running around the cold, abandoned streets of London like I did at 5:00 each morning. Even as early as it was, people and cars were starting to trickle into the streets. Guess some people had early jobs.

I turned my ipod onto Up All Night. Yes, I was 53 and still a major fan of One Direction. They were actually still a band, although a lot had changed. They were all married, and they all had kids. They didn't tour much anymore, but they drove around england on their tourbus and performed around here quite a bit. That's why I moved here, because I was hoping to see them perform again sometime. I had only been to one concert in my life, and it was obviously a very long time ago. Plus, like I said their families were near here, so once and awhile Layla would come visit me. But I never really got to see much of Liam or the other guys.

I still can't help thinking it could have been different If I had gone to the water park that day. Maybe I would be one of their wives instead. Maybe I would have been one of the girls to get engaged at Layla's wedding. Just maybe.

Seeing as it was already 5:45, I headed back to my house. I lived alone in a nice apartment on the 13th floor. Yes you heard me, I live alone. My neighbors and I are always getting together though, so I still have plenty of friends. I just wish I had a family.

You see, I had gotton married to Jake about three years after our first date. We have twin girls, but they are both 20 and attending college in the United States. They come out to visit on holidays and such though. And Jake- he died a few months ago. He was coming home from work one day, and there was a mob running around shooting random people. He was one of the victims.

I went to my apartment and unlocked the door. Walking to my room, I sighed as I took a quick shower, curled my hair, and got dressed for work. I still produced songs, the same job I had since college. I still quite enjoyed it actually.

My TV was on in the kitchen as I was making breakfast. I was putting syrup on my waffle as I heard the words 'One Direction'. I raced into my living room to have a better view of the TV. What I saw broke my heart.

"We are here live with famous band, One Direction. You guys have been famous for quite some years now, and still doing shows around england. You said you had a big announcement for fans today. Care to tell us?" A blonde perky interviewer held out the microphone, and Harry took it.

"Actually, it is some sad news. You see, the boys and I have had a great 37 years doing what we love, and we are truly thankful and find it incredible that we still have so many fans that truly care about us." Harry was starting to tear up, as well as Niall. The usual mischevious glint usually held in Louis' eyes was now replaced with sadness. Zayn started to speak.

"What Harry is trying to say, is that every rollercoaster ride has to end, but it only ends so you can get on another one. This ride was terrific while it lasted, but it is time for our rollercoaster ride to end." Zayn embraced Harry, and they started crying together. Niall and Louis were hugging, but you could tell they were holding back tears. Liam took the mic.

"We are no longer going to be a band. We think our time as a band is up, and so we are going in different directions. We had a great run, amazing actually. We will always continue to be friends, so don't worry about that. But we will no longer be making or performing music. One Direction is officially over."
