*chapter 2*

Archie's p.o.v:

*flashback*

I finally wake up from my 2 hour nap.
"Finally, you're awake, I was just about to go get something for dinner at Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe." My dad said.
"Okay, I'm starving anyway. How long till we get there?"
"About 10 minutes or so." He replies.

* 10 minutes later.*

I walk into this nicely decorated restaurant. Me and my dad ordered our food and my dad payed.
"Thanks dad." I say. He just nods and walks to a booth. As I walk behind him I see this beautiful raven haired girl sitting all alone. I think she was glancing at me a few times. I sat with my dad and started to eat my food. I looked at her and I saw that she was looking at me. She quickly looked away, as did I.
"Dad can I go say hi to her?" I say pointing to the girl.
"Sure son." He says. I got out of my seat and walked to her and slid into the booth chair in front of her.
"Hey." I say smiling.
"Hi." She says looking up and smiling as well.
"I'm Archie, Archie Andrews." I say.
"I'm Veronica Lodge." She replies.
"Look, if I creeped you out by staring at you.." she starts
"No, no, no you didn't I just wanted to come say hi." "And since I've done that i'll just leave." I say I start to slide up and start to rise.
"Wait, Archie!" She lightly yells.
"Yes, Veronica?" I say looking at her and sitting back down.
"Can I maybe get your number, Archiekins?" She asks.
"Sure thing Ronnie" I say.
We exchange phones and I leave.
"She's beautiful." I say quietly but loud enough for her to hear. I look back at her and she's looking at me blushing and smiling. She winked at me and turned back around. I do the same and leave to restaurant with my dad.

Veronica's p.o.v:
I'm getting ready to go to pop's. I get in my car and drive to pop's hoping Cheryl will already be there. I get there and she's not here. I order my food and get a booth.

Ring ring ring!

I look at my phone and it was cheryl.
"Sorry Veronica I'm on a date I couldn't pass up." She says.
"Okay." I say. I hang up the phone not really caring because she's done this to me millions of times. I start to contemplate about how there will be no new students at our school this year like every other year. It's always the same boring boys to fuck around with. Never new ones. As I finished my thoughts I heard Pop's bell ring which meant someone came in. I stared the ginger stallion because I've never seen him before. He might be new. They started walking pass me and I was still staring even when he sat down. He looked at me and saw me staring at him and we both quickly looked away. A few minutes later I her a him say hey to me. We start talking and when he left he said to himself, but I think he wanted me to hear it, that I was beautiful. I looked at him while blushing and smiling he was looking at me and was smiling. I drove home after he left and went to my room. While I was reading I heard moving trucks and perpetual conversations.
"I wonder who could be moving next to us." I say to myself. A few minutes later I hear the trucks leaving and the conversations gone. I decided to be nosy and look through the window. And right when I looked out he took his shirt off and put a new one. Archie, the one I met a pops tonight, lives right next door to me.
"He's sexy." I whisper yell. After he left from in front of the window I realized something. I like the boy next door, the new neighbor, I like Archie Andrews. "But how?" I ask myself. I turned off my lights and tried my best to go to sleep for the first day of school tomorrow. But I couldn't sleep I was thinking about Archie and if he feels the same way about me. Even though we just met. I just couldn't wait till tomorrow so I can see Archie again.
