I am just
an empty vessel
wishing to be sought
In the sea
of broken souls

you overlook my rights
and judge me
for my wrongs
you let
the wrongdoings
of others
paint my future

you're blinded
by your ignorance
oblivious
to the good
in me

all I want is justice
for me
and the others
who feel the need
to prove themselves

maybe we aren't pure
or exactly perfect
but we deserve
a chance
to be heard
and change the roots
of the evil you perceive
in us
