secrets
keep people close
but secrets
are just
horrifying
things
mended by
regret and
guilt
they're a reminder
of our past
whether they're tainted
or not
they'll always lurk
over your shoulder
holding you back
haunting you
and using your
very own actions
against you
a trap
from the very
devil himself
