4 months later...

Four months in and it just kept getting better and better for Jema and Deanna. Two months to the day after their first date, Deanna had formally asked Jema to be her girlfriend on a date to an art museum. The latter obviously had said yes, and their relationship had grown stronger ever since. Deanna eventually met Jema's friends who absolutely adored the young heiress for their friend. Jema met more of Deanna's friends. Jema obviously knew Luigi to some extent because of the cake which made the admission even more hilarious.

"I knew it! I fucking knew it!" Luigi was almost shouting at the top of his lungs.

"Gi, one could calm down." Deanna knew it be almost impossible to calm the man down. For years, Luigi had tried to convince Deanna to go out there and date. To his delight, his suspicions of Deanna's special someone were confirmed.

Deanna often got into the office earlier than usual to leave earlier than usual. Luigi appreciated his privileges of being able to waltz into his friend's father's company without any hassle and he appreciated it even more that he had a decent relationship with his friend's secretary. Julie tried not to give away her boss so easily but when Luigi spotted invoices from flower shops and cinemas on her desk, it wasn't hard for Luigi to piece together that his best friend was seeing someone. He was hoping it was Jema and his suspicions were only heightened when Luigi and Wendy set out to meet Mafe for lunch where Mafe revealed that Jema had sort of become 'happier'.

The two obviously were routing for Jema and Deanna together but they didn't want to assume that they were each other's frequent dates. They never really got an update after the wedding and they sort of let it fade into the background until Luigi saw the invoices.

"Hahaha. You've gotten him too excited, D." Wendy remarked beside Luigi.

"How long has he been holding this in?" Jema asked laughingly at Wendy as Luigi couldn't wipe the grin on his face.

They were having lunch with the newlyweds who recently bought the house they were eating in. Which was an advantage since Luigi would have made a scene shouting as he did.

"Oh my god. I'm so happy. See, honey. I told you they looked good together." Luigi said proudly.

"As I recall, you were surprised to see them work together very well. I for one saw it before the wedding." Wendy proudly remarked.

"Really? Haha." Deanna asked.

"What made you think that?" Jema queried.

"I don't know. There's something about seeing two completely independent and confident women that just spoke volumes to me. Also, I know Deanna is a dork and I could tell you are a sucker for dorks." Wendy said with a smirk.

Deanna fake frowned at the remark and Jema just chuckled. Having noticed the fake reaction Deanna gave, Jema decided to reward her girlfriend for being a good sport and planted a kiss on her beau's cheek.

"She's not wrong. Haha."

Deanna grinned to which Luigi reacted to with a loud 'You guys are too cute!'.

"Babe. Babe."

Sleeping Deanna was probably one of the most irate and impatient Deanna's there was. But alas, it only took the sound of her loving girlfriend's voice to tame the rage that was the refusal to wake up. Deanna had stirred awake slightly to find her girlfriend sprawled across her own body snuggling closer to kiss the younger woman's neck. Deanna never liked waking up early in the mornings but any morning with Jema was always a plus. Seeing her super-hot and stunning girlfriend in her night clothes on top of her just did things to Deanna that weren't appropriate to mention in public places.
