Annabeth hurried over to Percy's room and started banging on his door. After a few seconds the door flew open to reveal a half dressed Percy. His hair was messy and eyes droopy. Annabeth flushed pink when she noticed he didn't have a shirt on.

"Percy, put a shirt on!" Annabeth said, turning away.

"Oh right," he said, sheepishly.

Annabeth chuckled to herself as she waited for Percy to come out. Lately, everything has been going well. Nico wasn't on life support anymore and her relationship was doing pretty amazing too. She was so glad to have Percy. Her silly yet charming seaweed brain.

"So, why were you banging my door at 8 o'clock in the morning?" he asked, slipping his hand in Annabeth's.

Annabeth shook out of her daze and smiled softly at her boyfriend.

"You have a photo shoot today," she informed, tucking her hair behind her ear. Her curly locks were truly a struggle to handle. No matter how many times she brushed them they still fell all over her face.

"Oh, yeah," he said. "I totally forgot about that,"

"And you have your new makeup artist coming in today," she said.

"Rachel, isn't it?" he asked, walking towards the kitchen. their hands still entwined.

"Rachel Elizabeth Dare," she said. "She is one of the best makeup artist in town,"

"Cool," he said, biting into an apple he grabbed from the kitchen counter top. "Wait did you just say Rachel Elizabeth Dare?"

"Yeah, anything wrong?" she asked when she noticed that Percy's face had visibly paled with a light tint of pink on his cheeks.

"No," he said, quickly. "Nothing at all,"

"Alright, get ready," she said, running her hand through Percy's untamed hair. "She'll be here anytime soon,"

With that Percy walked off. Annabeth wondered why he was acting so weird when she mentioned her name. But, she just shrugged it off.

It was probably nothing.

The door bell rang signalling the arrival of Rachel. She rushed towards the door and opened it to reveal agirl who looked in her 20's. She was tall, slim and had red curly hair that was tied into a pony tail, her face was lightly freckled and her forest green eyes glistened with happiness. She wore a lose t-shirt that hung off her shoulders with blue jeans that were covered with small splatters of paint. She carried a large bag that Annabeth assumed was filled with makeup.

"Hi, you must be Annabeth Chase," she said, smiling warmly.

"Yes and you are Rachel Dare I assume?" Annabeth said, ushering her inside.

"Yup," she said." Now where's the model?"

"He's getting ready," Annabeth said, gesturing for her to sit down. Rachel smiled at her and took a seat placing her large bag beside her.

Percy came rushing down shortly wearing a silver and silver jeans pants.

"Are you going to be some sort of tin foil man?" Annabeth asked, chuckling.

Percy sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck and flushed pick as soon as he spotted RAchel sitting behind Annabeth.

"Percy Jackson!" RAchel said, her eyes growing wide with surprise. "Or should I say 'Nemo's Number 1 Fan'!"

"H-hey, Rach," he said, awkwardly.

Rachel ran up to him and tackeld him in a bone-crushing hug. Annabeth felt a twinge of jealousy but quickly brushed it aside.

"You two know each other?" Annabeth asked.

"Me and Perce went to same high school," she said. "We used to date until Percy unexpectedly moved away,"

Annabeth looked at Percy raising a questioning eyebrow. Percy grinned back still blushing furiously.

"Oh, that's cool," Annabeth said, coughing awkwardly. "You should get started,"

"Good idea," Rachel said. "Percy is never the one to cooperate,"

Annabeth felt jealousy growing inside her as Rachel pulled Percy into the makeup room by his hand chuckling softly.

Annabeth paced in her dorm. She was jealous. She knew it but she didn't want to be jealous. She didn't want to be one of those girls who are jealous at every single person that comes in a 1 mile radius to their boyfriend. But she couldn't help it. Rachel was really pretty, they used to date and the never officially broke up. She started to wonder why a guy like Percy would ever fall for a girl like Annabeth. She was an agent. He was a model. She wasn't good-looking. He was extremely good-looking. She didn't deserve him. He deserved someone better.

After a good 30 minutes of pacing around her room she decided to go to the make-up room to see how everything was going. NOT that she didn't trust Percy. She just wanted to check.

She walked down the stairs and took a sharp left. And there it was... 'The Makeup Room'. She didn't know why she was so nervous. It's not like wanted to be the typical 'Over-Protective Girlfriend'.

She slowly pushed open the door and what she saw made her heart sink. Percy cupped Rachel's face in his hands and Rachel had her arm in his hair as they kissed. Annabeth let out a short gasp. Percy, immediately pulled away and looked at Annabeth with guilt clouding his eyes, while Rachel's face was filled with confusion.

"This is not what it looks like I sw-" Percy started. Annabeth ran out of the room not wanting to hear anymore. She should have never trusted Percy. She should have never agreed to date him. She was right to call him a jerk. Her mom was right. Professional life should be separate from personal life. She thought everything would be fine. But, she couldn't have been more wrong.

Tears clouded her vision as she ran into her dorm. She slammed the door shut and slid down an empty wall. She pulled her knees up to her chest and she cried. She wasn't angry at Percy. She was angry at herself for trusting him, for caring for him and for falling for him...
