Jealous Much?

"I missed you," Luke said, resting his chin on his hand. Currently, Annabeth was at Luke's house since sitting across his dining table listening to cheesy Christmas songs.
It was Christmas Eve and Annabeth has absolutely NO clue what she was gonna do for Christmas. Probably go back to her house and binge watch old Christmas movies with Malcom. That was they used to do before she was assigned on her first mission to protect that jerk.

Annabeth wondered what Percy was doing right know. Probably hanging out with his stupid girlfriend Rachel. Luke snapped his fingers in front of Annabeth's face jolting her back to reality. Annabeth blinked a few times before processing what happened. "I said, I missed you," Luke grinned.

"Oh, uh. It's been like one day," she said, smiling lightly. "I had to do my job. Being the agent of someone I need to accompany them when they decide to go out,"

"Percy," he groaned, rubbing on hand over his face. "You still have to work for him after everything?"

"It's my job, Luke," she said, brushing a wild strand of hair off her face. "You know I take my job seriously,"

"Says the girl who dated the person she was supposed to-" he started but cut himself of when Annabeth shot him a warning glare. She told Luke about everything. Though she kinda regretted it know. Luke raised his arms in mock surrender at her intense glare. "I'm sorry. I won't bring it up, again,"

"Good," she stated, getting up from her seat. Luke got up with her and followed her into the kitchen. She opened a random cabinet, her eyes scanning the different snacks which she would fill her grumbling stomach with.
She finally decided on a chocolate biscuit. As she reached her hand to grab her biscuit she let out a slight gasp when Luke snacked his arms around her waist. He rested his chin on her shoulder peering at what she was looking at.

When Percy did the same thing she felt like they fit perfectly together like to pieces of a puzzle but with Luke it just didn't feel right. His sharp jawline was digging into her shoulder making her extremely uncomfortable. She lightly shrugged Luke of her shoulder and grabbed the packet she was eyeing before. She quickly pulled it open and took a bite of the heavenly biscuit. It was so buttery that melted on her tongue, her taste buds dancing at the taste of the, too good to be true, chocolate biscuit.

"So, what are your plans for Christmas?" Luke asked, trying to take a biscuit from her. Annabeth immediately swatted his hand away. Nobody touches Annabeth Chase's food.

"Oh, I don't know," she said, nonchalantly taking another bite of the delicious treat. "Probably binge watch some Christmas movies with my little brother,"

"You are not gonna stay alone with your brother at Christmas," he said, over-dramatically. "Come over to my house. I am gonna be alone anyway. I was planning on going to a stupid Christmas party which one of my friends are hosting but I would much rather prefer spending Christmas with you,"

"Um, no, you should go to that party," she said, looking down. "I am not the greatest company,"

"But I want to spend it with you," he argued, pouting. "Please?"

"Fine," she huffed, folding arms over her chest. "I'll come but Malcom's coming, too,"

"Yes!" He squealed, grabbing Annabeth's hand and spinning her around. Annabeth laughed at his behaviour but continued dancing with him.

Soon their crazy dancing slowed down when the music changed drastically Luke smiled at her and wrapped his arm around her waist and placed the other on her shoulder. Annabeth hesitantly did the same. Luke's beautiful brown and blue eyes stared at Annabeth's stormy grey ones that were filled with confusion. He gently placed his hand on the side of Annabeth's face, his eyes falling on her lips. He looked at Annabeth as if waiting for a sign of approval. Annabeth gulped lightly but gave a slight nod. He smiled and gently placed his lips on hers. The kiss wasn't what Annabeth had expected it to be. It didn't feel like when Percy kissed her. There were no sparks. It was just there. Luke must have sensed her stiffness and pulled away. His eyes clouding with hurt and guilt.

"D-Did I do something wrong?" He asked, his voice breaking a little. That's when Annabeth's heart dropped. The look on his face made her feel so guilty. She wants to slap herself for not getting over Percy. The problem was no matter how hard she tried Percy would never go out of her heart. Annabeth gently placed a hand in his cheek then leaned in. Her lips on his. They stayed like that for a while before both of them pulled away gasping for air. Luke smiled his usual dorky smile at Annabeth and this time Annabeth smiled back.

"No, you didn't do anything wrong," she said.

"Bye Luke," Annabeth said, walking towards the front door with a pouting look following her. He pulled on Annabeths sleeve causing her to turn around raising an eyebrow at him. "What?"

"Do you have to go?" He whined, folding his arm over his chest. He reminded her so much of Percy it hurt. I guess she has a time: Stupid, kiddish, dorks but cut3 at the same time. Sh3 just hoped this wouldn't turn out like her last relationship with Percy. That was already way too painful.

"I'm sorry, Luke, but I have to go since 'you know who' has a photoshoot today," She said, planting one last kiss on his cheek before pulling open the door of his house. His house was no where as big as Percy's mansion. Annabeth liked Luke's House way better since it was way more practical then Percy's. Annabeth also knew that both Luke and Percy have the same amount of money but Percy is just more careless with his than Luke is. That's one of the main things she like about Luke. He was way more sensible than Percy.

She walked over to her car after she heard the door close behind her. She quickly started ignition and turned on the heater. She rubbed her frost palms together. Even though she was only outside for a few seconds she was nearly freezing to death. The weather has dropped drastically over the past week. Just a few days ago she was jogging around the area now she could barely step out without risking freezing her legs off. Once the car started warming up a little she turned on the radio and listened to a few Christmas songs before pulling over to the Famous Blue Mansion. This place was once the only place she needed but now every second she spend looking at it was torture.

She ran over to the door scanned her card and walked in pulling off her jacket and her otters. She quickly pulled of her boots and looked up to see Percy sitting on the couch his jet black hair neatly jelled back. He wore a red top with floppy sleeves and some retro stile white baggy pants. Annabeth has to try to hold in her laugh at his hideous outfit.

"Hey, where were you?" He asked, trying to make small talk. His eyes where still on the coffee table refusing to meet her gaze.

"I was over at Luke's," she said, then immediately regretted it when his sad gaze snapped to hers. He shifted I his seat and looked at her to explain further. Annabeth didn't say a word just simply walked towards the stairs but she stopped when she felt an arm on her shoulder. Her head snapped to Percy's face as she threw his arm of her.

"Why were you at his place?" he growled, his eyes staring into her angry ones. What the heck was his problem?! He had no rights to talk her like that! He was the one who cheated on her in the first place. Now why was he acting all jealous even though he clearly moved on. Annabeth could have easily judo flipped him and walked away like nothing had happened but for some reason she wanted him to know that she had moved on just like he did so easily.

"I was over at his place cause we're dating!" She yelled, as Percy's eyes widened and his mouth fell agape at her outburst. "Don't you dare give me that look. You are the one who cheated on me then moved on like nothing ever happened between us, like nothing happened to Nico. You have no idea how much it took for me to try and get you out of my mind. And guess what I'm still trying. I'm still trying to stop crying myself to sleep at night. I'm still trying to stop myself from spiraling it a pit of darkness. Now I finally think I've found someone who won't hurt me. So leave me the hell alone!"

"I'm sorry," he choked, causing Annabeth to scoff as she stormed into her room.
