"Enjoy your desserts" the waiter said smiling and made his way back. I looked in front of me and my mouth watered at the sight..and no before you think it's Ashton i am talking about then you are wrong. I am talking about my favourite chocolate dessert which is set in front of me. Hmm..lets not make it wait for long or else it will feel alone right?!
Taking a bite from it i moaned out at the taste of my chocolate cake. My heaven. Yummm!!!
I looked at Ashton to see his hands are clutching the folk so tight that his nuckles have turned white and his teeth are clenched together. "Hey..what's wrong Ashton?" I asked concerned.
At the sound of my voice he looked at me and released a sigh "Nothing is wrong. I am fine".
"Then why are you clutching the folk so tight?" I asked with narrowed eyes.
My question brought him to look at his hands and he instantly released the folk.
He cleared his throat "It's nothing..i was just thinking about something."
Still not convinced but i decided to change the subject "So what it was you wanted to talk about?"
"Oh that!!!" He exclaimed as if he has forgotten about it.
"Yeah that!!! So what it is?" I asked curiously.
"Okay..but i want you to promise me something first." He asked or stated rather nervously.
"Depends on what it is." I said.
"I want you to promise me that..you won't run away at any case and i want you to tell me exactly how you feel after i say what i am about to say." He said looking a little uncomfortable.
"You are starting to scare me Ashton." I am now contemplating that if it was a good idea coming today with Ashton or not and what it is that has made him so uncomfortable and nervous because the Ashton i know is always confident.
"Just promise me woman. You are not making it easy." Ashton looked so nervous . And so cuteee. Oh shut it Ellie. Now is not the time to fawn over his looks.
"Okay fine. I promise you that i won't run away and will truthfully tell you what i feel."
"See it wasn't so hard now was it."
"Just cut to the chase already Ashton." He is taking so long..ughhh.
He released a breath and said "I LIKE YOU ELLIE."
"This is what you wanted to say Ashton. Like really? Of course you like me i am your assistant after all."
"Ellie i like you like you not as in i like you as my assistant like you. It means i have feelings for you woman from the very first time i saw you at the club. I know it soon but i can't help it. I don't like the idea of you being away from me. Whenever i see you i just want to hold you and not let you go. I really really like you Ellie."
Oh my god ! Oh my god! Oh my god! It's happening. Oh my god. Ashton likes me. He likes me likes me. My boss likes me. The boy i have been crushing on likes me back. Aghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Your shocked expression and you not saying anything is really not helping my situation Ellie. I am really close to running away from here." His words snapped me out of my internal squealing but still no words left my mouth i sat there opening and closing my mouth.
"Its okay Ellie if you not like me back. I guess it's too soon. I should have waited. I will maintain my distance from you now on. I expect you to still continue.."
"Shut up Ashton. I like you too." I blurted out.
His neck snapped at my direction " You do?"
"I guess i do." I said grinning like a fool and hearing this Ashton expressions mirrored mine.
"You have made me so happy Ellie. When you didn't said anything i thought you didn't feel the same thing and i now have made things awkward." He said still smiling.
His smile is so beautiful. God. He is so beautiful. And this beautiful man likes me. Oh god!!!!
Before i could say something the waiter came with our bills and Ashton handed him his card. He brought his swapping machine and Ashton paid the bill.
"Let's go Ellie." Ashton said standing up and i matched his actions .
We made our way out with Ashton's hand pressed on my back. I can't help but feel giddy and damn those sparks.
Once we reached his car he opened the door for me still smiling . I settled in and gave him a smile and he closed the door and walked towards his side to get in.
Suddenly the enclosed space of his car seem too small. The car smells like him and his scent is overpowering my sense. It was becoming hard for me to breathe.
Maybe songs will distract me.
I stretched my hand to increase the volume and it looks like Ashton was thinking the same because his hand reached the dial just as mine did. Our fingers brushed a little and electricity shoot up my arm. I pulled my hand back my fingers still tingling.
The air between us electrified. It wasn't like this when we came. What is wrong now?!!.
You both confessed your feelings for each other. That is what has changed you silly Ellie.
Maybe now we know that we feel the same way for each other and we don't have to hold back.
"That's it. I cant do it anymore." and with that he turned sideways cupping my face in his hands and pressed his lips to mine.
