Hard to answer questions; The Arc League Championship Begins

As Fumi disappeared into the purple mist, I collapse, completely exhausted. The kids come up to me, clearly confused.
"Big bro John, What is going on!? Who was that!? Why did you call her sis!? How did the effects seem so real from that duel!?" I was attacked by question after question from Futoshi and Ayu. Tatsuya didn't seem that surprised, which I understood because of his presence at my duel with Abidos.
"I don't have all the answers, but from what I can remember, she's my sister who was taken when someone murdered our.... parents. As for how the damage seemed real, it's because there's a huge battle being waged between worlds."
"So does that mean you're an alien?" Replied Futoshi, and I couldn't help but laugh.
"No, because I'd probably be experimenting on you guys if I was in the mood if I were an alien." I then kneel and look at Ayu and Futoshi in the eyes.
"I need you guys to keep this to yourselves for now, okay? I don't want you to get caught up in the dangers." As I said this, Tatsuya speaks up.
"What about you? We don't want to lose you, John!" He starts to tear up. I smile and ruffle his hair.
"I'll be fine. Don't worry." I then get up . "Now, we should get back so we can get ourselves ready for the tournament, right?"
Tatsuya wipes away his tears, smiling and nods. "Yeah.
Futoshi shakes a little and nods, smiling as well. "Okay, big bro John."
Ayu looks hesitant, but nods as well. "Let's do our best!"
A few days later...
I got up early on the day of the opening ceremonies, looking through my deck. I sigh a little, calming my mind of the recent events.
"You seem anxious, my lord."
I turn around and see Utopia as a chibi, and I inwardly chuckle at his cuteness as such.
"Yeah. I'm just nervous about how my arrival here will alter the path this world takes." I place my deck down, smiling a little.
"I understand your concern, but your father and mother wouldn't want you to be so worried. They would want you to embrace your destiny and 'Hi-Five the sky,' no matter what happens."
"But how did Tori, my mother, return to being a teen when I arrived?" I ask, still confused. Utopia simply shook his head, not having an answer. After a few minutes, a knock is heard at my bedroom door.
"Yes?" I ask, and Yuko opens the door, looking in.
"Breakfast is ready John."
"Thank you, Mrs. Sakaki."
"Oh, no need to thank me. You are practically family." She replies, smiling. I look down, smiling a small smile as a lone tear flows down my right cheek.
"Are you doing alright, John? You seem upset about something."
"Huh? Oh, yeah. I'm fine. Just thinking about my family." I chuckle as I get up and head downstairs to eat.

At LDS president Reji Akaba's office
".... and that's the offer. You have those options, Ms. Shiro." Finishs Mrs. Akaba, clearly irritated. She felt it was wrong to give someone who could be the enemy fooling you choices that include a 'Get out of jail free card.'
"I will play along. I don't understand why you all have so little trouble trusting me. I can understand the Xyz duelist here," Shiro gestures towards Shun, who gives an irritated grunt. "Because my former comrades caused destruction on his home. I didn't believe it until I seen it myself, to be honest." She finishes, saying the last part softly. Shun glares at her, then turned to leave.

At the LDS tournament check-in area...
I finished checking in You Show Duel School with Shuzo, when my duel disk starts ringing. It was an unknown contact, so I answered.
"Hello?"
"You are going to be hurting if we duel, John." Replies an angry voice I recognized. I sigh as Shun continued. "I can't believe you would save a fusion dimension scum! How clueless can you be!? They could turn on you after gaining your trust!"
"Are you finished? Because I have a tournament to focus on, Shun."
"You are concerned about this little competition!? You are such an-" I didn't let him finish, and I hung up.
Shuzo looked at me, confused.
"Who was that, John? Sounded like a rival."
"You could say that." I don't say anything else. After a few minutes, everyone is directed to get in lines.

After Yuya's opening ceremony speech, I look over in the direction of Shun, who noticed me and glares, anger clearly in his eyes.
"Now, all duelist! Please put your entry card into your duel disk to see who you are facing!" Yells Nico Smiley. Everyone does so, and I find I'm facing an Alister Dracbane from the Dragon Tamer duel school. He has purple hair like Hokuto, but it's wavy and he wears a cape with a pendant in the shape of a dragon's head holding it  in place on his shoulder. Turned out my duel was right away.
"Now, it turns out two extraordinary duelists have been chosen to duel right away! Please welcome John Yusaku and Alister Dracbane!"
Everyone clears the field and everyone from YouShow duel school wish me luck.
"Heh, hope you post a good challenge, buddy." Said my opponent. I realize he's younger than me, despite his adult features. He turned out to be barely eligible for the Junior league. I smile and laugh.
"Same to you. I can guess you use dragons, but I also have a mighty dragon of my own."
"Looks like our two duelists are really fired up! Then let's choose the action field! Randomizer, GO!" Yells Nico. Soon the giant card slows spinning, stopping on what appeared to be a canyon with dragons coming out of caves.
"Action field, ON! Dragon's Canyon!"
"Duelist Locked in battle," starts Alister.
"Dancing in the air alongside their monsters!" I continue.
"They storm through this field! Behold, the newest evolution of dueling!" We say in unison.
"Action!" Everyone yells.
"DUEL!" As me and Alister yell, the action cards fall, covering the canyon.
"I'll start! Yells Alister. "I'll summon Mythical Wood Dragon! And while he's out, I special summon the level 8 Mythical Water Dragon! With Water Dragon out, Wood Dragon's level also becomes 8. I'll set a card and end my turn." He then starts running, looking for action cards.
"I draw!" I look at my cards, but look in caution as Alister jumped around. His basic move meant he could have Xyz summoned, but he didn't.
"I'll start by special summoning Photon Thrasher!" My 2100 attack power monster comes out, slamming the ground with his impact and slightly knocking Alister off balance until Wood Dragon flies over and catches him. "Next, I summon Alexandrite Dragon!" My dragon flies out of one of the caves letting out a roar.
"You aren't going to destroy my monsters! I play Wonder Xyz! I overlay my two dragons to Xyz summon! King of the skies, fly down and serve me in my time of need. Xyz summon! Appear, rank 8, Winged Dragon, King of the Skies!"
A monster that was similar to Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress appears, except it was gold and had a more elegant body.

"Thank you for that. Now I can show you my dragon!" At this declaration of mine, Alister looked shocked.
"But you already normal Summoned! How can-"
"I offer my two monsters with 2000 or more attack points to call upon the mightiest of my monsters!" My two monsters nod before turning into particles, flowing into my hand and becoming a shuriken, which I toss into the air.
"Great beast with the universe in your eyes, unleash your light and become my very servant! Appear, Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon!" As my dragon formed, everyone gasped in surprise.
"But why? And how will you be able to destroy my King of the Skies while he's in defense mode? They have the same amount of points!"
"That's going to be changed. Go, Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon! Attack with Photon Stream of Destruction! But then I activate his effect. Both Galaxy Eyes and the target monster are banished until the end of the battle phase." Both monsters disappear.
"Next, I activate Photon Return. I return Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon after activating his effect, and his second effect activates. For every overlay unit an Xyz monster it battled had, he gains 500 attack. So now my dragon has 4000 attack, and since he returned while it's still the battle phase, he can attack again! Go, Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon! Photon Stream of Destruction!" Alister panics and tries to get up to grab an action card, only to trip on his cape. The stream of light energy strikes, and everyone looks in shock. When the smoke clears, Alister has swirls in his eyes, looking shocked while dazed.

"IT'S OVER! John Yusaku has defeated Alister Dracbane in a surprise OTK!" yells Nico, and everyone is practically screaming in surprise and applause. I rush over to Alister after the real solid vision deactivated, concerned.
"You okay, bud?"
I am surprised by a little bit of giggling, then a full fit of laughter.
"Of course I'm fine, but your dragon is a true powerhouse! It was fun to face it." He smiles and takes my hand, shaking it. I pull him up as we wave to the crowd.
