Andrea's POV
I sit on the bed with Taedae as I read to him one of his favorite books, Jack and the Beanstalk.
My eyes dart to every big font as I read out loud, changing my voice for each of the characters. I kiss his forehead carrying on reading with slight difficulties.
After the beating my eyes shut closed and were very difficult to open due to all that pain. But after some days it became easier to open. It still hurts but compared to before it's better. Some positions still hurt but I manage as the swelling is going down.
"Appa?" Taedae interrupts.
"Hmm? I didn't catch that," I say turning to him. "What did you say?"
"Papa,"
"Papa isn't here," As expected, he begins to mummer before a stream of tears cover his face.
I lift him up patting him. He calms down when I stroke his back running my fingers through his hair. I feel his weight begin to work on me being heavy, indicating that he's fallen asleep. I lay him down on the bed and kiss his cheek. I remain looking at him, thinking of what's to come next.
Am I going to leave him?
Am I going to leave Taedae behind with him?
Or should I take Taedea with me?
The swelling on my cheek stings as a tear rolls down.
That night was a nightmare for me. I know I said I wanted to be with his good and bad side but I didn't mean this type of pain. This pain where I feel it with every move.
I can't bring myself to even look in the mirror. Every time I brush my hair, touch my face, move a certain part or even open my mouth pains me deeply.
I don't need to look in the mirror to know bad I look. Soft lumpy sides that jolt me when I touch or press by accident. Compared to the rest of my body my face stings the most. His physics are my weakness both in negative and positive connotations. He's big to protect me, but also big enough to hurt me.
I just really wish he didn't hurt me, but I can't find it in me to pack up and go. I can't leave him. I wish it were simple, but it's not, because I love him.

Taehyung POVI roll my head around taking a look at the stars. I really need to see her. I need to see Andrea and fix things.
I unlock the door, meeting as usual the dark house. I walk inside the dinning hall expecting to see food, but it's empty.
I spot Namjoon with boxing gloves as I turn around. My eyebrows furrow upwards eyeing him suspiciously. "Where did you get those?"
My heart starts beating aloud and he does is tilt his head in confusion. "These?" He looks at the big red boxing gloves and his mouth forms an 'o' shape. "Ohh no, don't get it twisted."
He assures but I still want answers. "Where?"
"Hoseok gave these to me,"
"Why?" I ask confused. Hoseok is really something. What exactly is he trying to do to me? Trying to get me fired up? 'Cause it's working.
Namjoon chuckles. "Follow me," he says going away on his chair.
I cautiously follow behind looking around. He stops right in front of a door. Andrea's door.
"I spoke with Andrea earlier," he says. "She's confused and she's hurting. She needs you,"
Hearing that Andrea needs me, enlightens my dark heart and I nod calmly although I'm dying inside.
"Andrea it's me. Namjoon," he knocks on the door. "Can I come in?" He asks. A tiny squeak is heard and we take it as a sign to come in.
Namjoon opens the door and slowly goes in. The room is simply another room in the house, white carpets, white walls and white bed. It's just different with the lights on. Looks more like a hotel room but smaller.
My heart skips a beat as I see her bent over on the bed, back facing us while she covers Taedae.
"I completely forgot to cook food. I'm sorry I'll quickly go make some f –" she automatically stops when she turns. Our eyes meet and mixed emotions are shared. We eye each other, my wearily eyes meeting her glimmering eyes.
I break the eye contact as my eyes begin to take in her appearance. Blotches and irregular wounds cover her. Her once alluring eyes are merely swollen staring back at me with tears. Pink and yellow little marks are across her cheeks and neck.
Did I seriously do all that?
Screams and wails to that night flash and echo back in my head. The sight so horrific yet I can't look away because I've missed her so much.
"Please leave," she says with a brittle voice, her arms wrap around her body and she looks down crying.
