Sabrina:
I've always loved kids, all of them. Even the ones that say creepy things, they're still so adorable. It was one winter night in late November, snow had started coming down quickly, where I got a call to babysit for some kids in the neighborhood next to mine, the parents heading to a concert the next night from six in the evening to around twelve in the very early morning.
The next day when heading to work after school I got a call, I picked it up and all I heard was growling, but not like and animal, like a human. I decided it was just someone trying to prank me so I ignored it. I heard footsteps behind me when right down the street, turned, and saw no one but footprints in the snow, not mine. Probably from a little while ago. I thought to myself, thinking my mind wasn't over what had happened to my mom a few years back, but quickly got over it, not wanting to think of my mom. Even though I tried, nothing worked and my eyes started to water. Don't cry right before work. I told myself. Don't cry before work. When I reached my work, (the grocery store) I wiped my eyes and headed inside, and a fake smile appeared on my lips.
