Author's Perspective:
"Time to get ready for bed kids!" Sabrina said, looking at the clock that read 9:47.
"Aw, come on! Can I play a bit more Mario Cart?" Jake asked with puppy dog eyes.
"Yeah, pleeeeease?" Mindy begged.
"Only if you finish getting ready before ten, then you guys can play until 10:15.
"YAY!!" they both exclaimed. So Mindy and Jake headed up the stairs and into their rooms to get in their pajamas. Once they finished getting ready, they both zoomed back into the living room, picked up their controllers, and started racing each other on the game.
"I'm going to beat you! Haha!" Jake laughed and zoomed ahead of Mindy.
"No you won't!!" screamed Mindy. When it came to be 10:15 Sabrina brought the kids upstairs and into bed.
"Goodnight Jake!" she said starting to head into Mindy's room.
"Goodnight!" he yelled from his room. Sabrina then read Mindy a bedtime story, and after about five minutes said it was time to go to sleep.
"Can you please check my bed for monsters?" Mindy asked.
"Sure!" Sabrina answered and played along. She bent down on her knees, and that's when she saw him.
