Prompt: It's a been a few years since college, and Tina hasn't really kept in touch with any of the New Directions, except for a few.

Tina Cohen-Chang adjusted her mask for what felt like the hundredth time that night. Why did I agree to do this again? Then, Tina glanced down at the little girl who was clutching her hand tightly, and remembered why.

The little girl was her neighbors' daughter, Jenna, so when Jenna's parents had called Tina asking her to take Jenna out trick or treating because they would be out of town, Tina just couldn't say no.

So, Jenna had decided that they would both dress up as different Cinderellas. Jenna was the Cinderella from the Disney movie, obviously, complete with the sparkly glass slippers. Tina had decided on the least embarrassing Cinderella, the one from "A Cinderella Story", because no one would know that she was the idiot in the poofy white dress since she had to wear a mask.

"Look at how much candy I have!" Jenna squealed, interrupting Tina's thoughts when she thrusted her pumpkin bucket in the older girl's face.

"Wow! That's a lot! Do you want to go ho-" Tina began, but was cut off when a knight in shining armor stepped into their path.

"Excuse me, ma'am, but could you do me a favor?" The knight interrupted, and Tina could've sworn she had heard his voice before, somewhere, but she couldn't put her finger on it. He was wearing a helmet, so Tina couldn't see his face, and she tried to peer in between the slits of his helmet, but it was no use.

"Of course, what would you like me to do?" Tina asked, still trying to sort out who he was in her mind.

"I was wondering if you would like to do the annual Halloween dance competition with me? You need a partner to compete, and the person I usually partner up with, her name is Brittany, is pregnant. I've been doing this competition every Halloween for three years now, and I really don't want to break the tradition." The knight quickly explained.

"I would love to, but I'm looking after my neighbor's daughter tonight, and I can't leave her alone." Tina apologized, gesturing to Jenna, who was staring at the knight in wonder.

"I can leave her with Brittany if you'd like." The knight offered, and Tina raised her eyebrows.

"Won't your wife mind that your leaving her to watch a little girl while you're off dancing with some random woman?" Tina asked, and the knight burst out laughing.

"Brittany's not my wife, I'm single, and she won't mind at all, she and her wife are great with kids." The knight assured her, and after a moment's contemplation, Tina nodded.

"Alright. Where's your friend?" Tina asked, and the knight waved her question away.

"I'll take the little princess to her." Tina reluctantly handed Jenna over, and though she felt wary handing the little girl over to a stranger, she was positive that she had heard the voice before.

The knight was back a few minutes later, and Tina warily accepted his hand, before he led her over to the dance floor.

They signed in at the front table, then went to find a space on the dance floor. No sooner had they gotten into position on the makeshift wood 'floor' that the music started to pulse through the speakers. The song was familiar, and Tina couldn't help but sing along when the chorus came.

Getting to know you
Getting to know you, getting to know all about you
Getting to like you, getting to hope you like me
Getting to know you, putting it my way but nicely
You are precisely my cup of tea

When hearing her voice, the knight abruptly stopped, sending Tina tripping over his feet and almost falling, before steadying herself by setting her hands on the knight's muscular arms.

"What's wrong?" She asked, looking up at the knight with questioning eyes. The pairs all around them were still dancing, but the knight didn't seem to notice, or care.

"Sing that part again." He ordered, and she gave him a funny look, but did as he asked. Once she was finished, he gasped.

"What?" She asked, desperate for the answer.

"Tina?" The knight said finally, and that's when Tina recognized the voice. She peeled back her mask, so it was resting atop her head, then slowly reached out and pulled up the knight's helmet.

"Mike?"

••••••••

They were sitting on a bench a few feet away from the competition, both still sporting stunned smiles.

"I should've known it was you as soon as I heard you speak. Or, as soon as you told me about your pregnant friend, Brittany, and her wife. You were talking about Britt and Santana, right?" Tina asked, breaking the comfortable silence.

"No, Britt met some other woman after college, so..." Mike's voice trailed off, and Tina's eyes bulged.

"What! But, they're meant to be together, they're soulmates!" Tina practically screamed.

"I'm kidding! Of course, Britt and Santana are married! I'm surprised you didn't know." Mike said, setting a reassuring hand on her arm,

"Yeah, I didn't really keep in touch with anyone after high school, only a few people, like Blaine, Artie, Sam, Mercedes." Tina listed, ticking the people off her fingers.

"Oh. Are you and Artie dating?" Mike asked, turning a bit red when Tina giggled.

"No," She said, shaking her head. "We tried for a little bit, but it didn't work out. We're still friends, and I'm 100% single." Tina informed Mike, smiling sadly.

"Well, we were just dancing together under the stars, and that's usually what people do the fourth or fifth date in. So, let me rewind a bit." Mike replied, standing up.

"What?" Tina asked, a little confused.

"Tina Cohen-Chang, would you like to go out for dinner with me, sometime?" Mike asked, holding out his hand.

"I would love too." Tina replied, giggling again, before taking his hand and allowing him to drag her back onto the dance floor.
