Chapter 6

I sat up on my couch and quickly blinked the remainder of my pity tears away.

“What do you want to talk about?” I asked, even though I know the answer to that question.

Dylan rolled his eyes and shut the door to my trailer.

“Really?” He asked as he sat down.

“We don’t have anything to talk about, as far as I’m concerned.” I lied. I did want to talk.

Dylan raised his eyebrow at me and I said, “I shouldn’t have walked into your trailer without knocking, I know. You don’t have to explain anything to me. If you want to have girls in there, then go ahead. It’s none of my business.”

He laughed then said, “You really don’t pay attention do you?”

I stared at him with a blank expression. “What?”

“The girl you saw is Gage. She plays Stiles’ love interest in the show. We were rehearsing for the scene where we kiss.” Dylan explained.

Ok, I feel like an ass now. I overreacted and got jealous over him doing his job.

“Oh. Sorry. I really should have knocked though.” I said, guiltily.

Dylan cupped my face in his hands. “You don’t need to be sorry.”

I removed his hands from my face and looked down. “Dyl, what is this? I mean, I kind of guessed you had a little crush on me but I’m confused.”

“Well, what do you want this to be?” he sincerely asked.

“I don’t know if I’m ready to have a public relationship again..” I said, referring to my relationship with Bradley. When we broke up, I got a lot of online hate because he’s the golden boy of baseball but I just brushed it off. Even if I did ignore it, I can’t sit here and say it didn’t hurt.

“Let’s just take things slow, ok?” He smiled.

I shook my head and smiled back.

“I gotta go but, do you want to hang out later? I heard the rest of the cast is going to some carnival fair thing tomorrow since it’s our day off.”

“Yeah, that sounds really fun!” I exclaimed.

“Okay then, bye!” He said as he started to leave.

“Wait, Dylan?” I stopped him.

“What’s wrong?” He frowned.

I smiled and kissed him square on the lips.
