Chapter 5

“Can we trade lives? Your life is amazing!” Emily said while sitting on the couch in my trailer.

“Trade lives with a 14 year old girl? Sign me up!” I sarcastically said.

Emily rolled her eyes. “I’m going to the bathroom.”

I nodded my head in response. Right after she shut the bathroom door, Posey and Dylan stuck their heads in.

“Where’d she go?” They asked.

I pointed to the bathroom and pulled them in.

“Hide in the closet.” I said while shoving Tyler in.

I sat back down on the couch with Dylan and waited for Em to come out.

“Hey Anne do you-“ Emily cut herself off when she saw Dylan and I.

“Y-you’re Dylan.” She gulped.

“So I’ve heard.” Dylan laughed. He got up and gave her a hug then pulled her down onto the couch in between us.

She just stared at him with wide eyes, it was kind of creepy and hilarious. Mainly hilarious but creepy still.

“You do realize that if you keep staring at him you are going to go blind from his ugliness.” I jokingly said.

“Ha. Ha. You are so funny Anne.” Dylan sarcastically said.

“Why can’t I have your life?” Emily sighed.

“Hey Em, can you get me my jacket out of the closet right there?” I said, starting up the video camera on my phone.

She nodded and got up I hit record and gave Dylan an evil look.

She reached for the doorknob and asked, “Why do you want your jacket? It’s not cold.”

She pulled open the door and stood there froze as Tyler said, “HEY EMILY!”

Dylan and I were rolling on the floor laughing.

Emily looked at me with her mouth wide open.

“You know my name?” She choked out.

“Yeah, why wouldn’t I know the name of my girlfriend’s cousin?” Tyler said.

Emily looked from Tyler to me with her eyebrows raised.

“You two are dating and you didn’t tell me? We are supposed to be best friends!” Dylan pouted.

“Just how gullible are you two? I’m not dating Tyler! It was a joke.” I said.

“Ohhhhh!” Emily said.

I rolled my eyes and said, “I have to go film now. Do you want to come with me Emily?”

She had sat down on the couch talking to Tyler and Dylan. Emily was hanging onto every word they said.

“Yo! Earth to Emily!” I yelled.

“What!” She said, annoyed.

“I brought you here to see what goes on behind the scenes, don’t you want to see how everything is filmed?” I asked.

“Nah, I’m good here.” She said looking at the boys.

“Hate to break it to you but they are in this scene too!”

“Really?” They groaned.

“Look at these pictures of me and the cast! I’m so going to tweet these to them and you!” Emily gushed as I drove off set.
