Chapter 4

The days following the first day of shooting were fairly uneventful. I have gotten into a daily schedule:

Wake up.

Go to hair and make-up.

Go to wadrobe.

Memorize lines.

Sit in my trailer until called onto set.

Hang out with the cast during off time.

Repeat.

During the week, the cast worked from about 2 p.m. till 5 a.m., which had me on a weird sleeping schedule.

I’ve actually grown to become extremely close with the rest of the cast since we spent every waking moment together.

Now here I am, walking through the lot towards my trailer. I opened the door to my trailer, only to be greeted by darkness. I flipped the light switch on and sat my purse down on the tiny kitchen counter.

“Boo!” Dylan screamed from behind my couch.

I gave him a flat look and shook my head. He’s been trying to scare me for the past week, not being successful once.

“Do you ever get scared?” Dylan huffed.

“Yes. Not by you though.” I said while sticking my tongue out at him.

Dylan plopped down on my couch, not even bothering to ask if he could stay.

“Why are you still here?” I asked him.

He feigned a look of hurt. “You act like you don’t want to be in my company.”

I laughed at him and sat down on the couch beside him.

“What episode are you shooting today?” He asked me.

I glanced over at the script I received earlier and said, “205.”

“I’m doing scenes for 203 today.” He added.

This was such a random conversation.

The conversation just flowed out from there and soon enough, we were laughing and smiling.

“Are you serious? Some girl actually asked you to sign her bra at comic con last year?!” I laughed.

“Dead serious. It was so awkward. Why would somebody want that?” Dylan wondered with a disgusted look on his face.

“Teenage girls are obsessed with you and all the other guys. You’re considered a ‘heartthrob.’ Of course, since I know the real you, I know you are actually a complete jerk.” I teased.

“I’m not a jerk, I’m hot.” Dylan said.

“Yeah, whatever.”

“Dude, you know what would be really funny?” I said, getting a great idea.

“If you fell off a bridge?” Dylan guessed.

“What? No!” I said. “My little cousin Emily is absolutely obsessed with this show and a certain Mr. Tyler Posey so I was thinking I should invite her to set.”

“No offense, but that’s not really funny.” Dylan said.

“You didn’t let me finish! I invite her to set, then show her around and let her meet everyone. Give her the V.I.P. experience. After that, I will take her back to the apartment.”

“Still don’t get how this is funny, it sounds pretty normal to me.” Dylan said.

“The thing is, she doesn’t know I live with you and Tyler! Her face will be priceless when she finds out!” I said.
