Ryder walks into the school on Monday, worried that everyone's still going to be tense from yesterday. That everyone isn't going to know what to say. Yet when he walks up to Liam and Mason, Mason's making jokes about a TV show, and Liam seems to be finding the conversation amusing. Ryder internally lets out a sigh of relief. Glad that there doesn't seem to be any awkward tension or other uncomfortable silences.

"Hey." He greets the two boys, sending them both a grin. One which Mason returns. "We want to start up our movie nights again, if you want to join?" Mason suggests, adjusting the strap on his bag as he asks. Ryder nods. "Yeah, sure. It was on Friday's, yeah?" Liam nods, and begins to explain what they were talking about before. Some stupid show, one Ryder doesn't think he'd enjoy if he watched it.

After School, Scott explains about how the pack is going to Eichen house, saying they need to find out more about the creatures that were at Sinema on Friday night. Ryder doesn't really remember seeing them all that much. He just knows that one part of his memory is a little hazy where the dread doctors should have been. He then asks if he can go with them to Eichen house, unsure of what's to come. What if Valack tried to kill them? He's crazy, that much is true. Why else would he be locked up in that nut house? Of course, Scott denies his request, telling him that it's just going to be himself, Kira, Lydia and Stiles. That Ryder should just look out for himself for the time being. Ryder huffs, but doesn't say anything else. Just exits the premises in annoyance.

He goes home, spending the night playing video games and teaching his sister how to not die in them.

When Friday does roll around, and Ryder's had a week of supernatural bullshit to ponder over what Scott had told him on Tuesday. Stiles killed Donovan, beat him to death with a wrench because the kid threatened to kill his father. Ryder was beyond confused.

All Ryder can think about during class, is Stiles, and how he doesn't believe that Stiles would ever kill someone. After Scott explained why he did it, Ryder understood why someone would do it. Donovan threatened his dad. Ryder would've done the same. Somehow, this still doesn't sit right with him though. Ryder knows that all of this can't have been right. Someone isn't telling the truth. Or someone misunderstood. because, Stiles? Killing someone? Ryder can't process that. It's not right in his mind and his reasonable and logic side rejects the possibility.

After school, Ryder drives Liam home so he doesn't have to take the bus. It's movie night anyway, so they just decided that Ryder would go home with him, and Mason would bring snacks when he arrived in an hour or so. Of course, they weren't going to start the movies immediately when Mason got there. It would only be four thirty. Liam and Ryder thought maybe they could play video games for a bit, and then order pizza and start the marathon at around seven.

Ryder and Liam spent the entire drive back to Liam's listening to Ryder's playlist, Liam joining in Ryder's singing when he knew the words. Both boys had huge grins on their faces as they listened to five seconds of summer's 'Rejects', because it's practically Ryder's theme song. (A/N: I put it at the top. It's so good.) Ryder sang along to the lyrics, this song being his absolute favourite ever. He's not sure he'll ever find a better song.

Liam seemed to be enjoying the song as he tried to learn the lyrics, clearly having not heard the song many times before. Ryder of course, knows every word, and is singing proudly, this being his personal anthem and all. His mind is clear of all except the lyrics, and he keeps his eyes trained on the road as he continues to sing the lyrics loudly. Liam looks mildly impressed by the time the song is over. "I can't believe you listen to that." He comments, earning a small glare from Ryder. "What's that supposed to mean?" He questions, an eyebrow arched carefully, glancing at the blond briefly. Liam shrugs. "Nothing, I just wasn't expecting you to like that sort of music." Ryder snorts, reaching out to flick Liam's nose. "I like most music, just as long as it's not that annoying child shit." Liam nods carefully, but gasps when he hears the song that's come on. "You listen to twenty one pilots?" He questions, a smile blossoming on the boy's lips. Ryder nods, turning up the music slightly. "I listen to lot's of good music, babe."
