James' POV

After I stormed out of my compartment I want to find Cece to figure out what is going on. I passed about 10 compartments before I heard my loves voice.

"C's (cease) where were you we know you weren't in the bathroom that long." Lily spoke.

"I got side tracked by James he wanted to talk to me." She stated plainly. Huh? she told us she was looking for the trolly.

"C's I thought you were looking for the trolly when you left here?" I asked walking into the compartment.

"Well I went the the bathroom, then I wanted something to eat so I went to find the trolly. Duh James do you think I would lie to you?" C's giggle avoiding eye contact.

"No unless you had a reason to?" I ask.

"Why would I have a reason to? James what are you talking about?" She said sweetly. Damn her for always being able to get me to believe her.

"You left with Sirius and he came back super happy so I just wanted to know why." I state. Alice made a girly squealish noise and Lily looked at C's with disapproving eyes.

"I totally called it! You have a crush on Black!" Alice squealed again.

"I do not. I hate him. That's common knowledge!" Cece exclaimed.

"Cece mind stepping out side with me" I said as nicely as I could. I am livid that she might have done something with Sirius!

"Sure James" We walked into a near by empty compartment. "So what do you want?" She asked.

"Why is Sirius so happy?" I ask. "He was with just you and he came back all happy and such. Why?"

"I don't know he probably bumped into one of his gigglers." She says nonchalantly.

"Then why didn't he say that?"

"I don't know James why don't you ask him! I'm not the one that's supposed to know why your best friend is feeling a certain way!" She tells me in a raised voice not yelling but almost. "Just leave me alone for once. God back off sometimes."

"So you want me to just not care?" I ask.

"Yes James all I want is for you to not care about every little thing I do." she tells me trying to not make me feel too bad I think.

"Okay I just won't care about you anymore. Bye baby sis" I say as I walk out of the compartment sadly. Great way to start the year, yell at my friends and get yelled at by my baby sister. I just want the best for her. Why can't she see that. As I was walking back to the compartment my stuff is in I bumped into Lily.

"James we need to figure out what is going on between Sirius and Cs she wouldn't tell us anything when she got back. Something's up and I know you'll help me." Lily tells me.

"Meet me in the kitchen tomorrow after class and we can discuss a plan of action." I suggest.

"No how about the library we will be able to focus better there." She counters.

"Fine" I agree because I'm just happy she is willing to spend any time with me for any reason.
