Prologue

1K 20 2

I was eleven when my mom remarried a Japanese mogul and a Yakuza leader to top with. My first time meeting with him was after our 6 hours flight from Brisbane to his ancestral home somewhere in Shibuya.

It's not just an ancestral home in my eleven year old eyes. I mean it fucking look like a scene out of a gangster movie! There are rough looking men in black with samurai swords on their hips, lining bowed from the hips from the gate entrance up to the first step in the ornately and historical looking Japanese house.

It's fucking terrifying. I was almost sure I peed on my underwear that time as I hid behind my mother's legs.

Looking back at it, how could my mom who's just a grade school teacher get a man like my now step dad Takahashi Eido?

Well it's not like I have a problem with him cause he's definitely the best step dad a girl could ever ask for.

I mean like, who would get an eleven year old a Siberian tiger cub as a welcome gift to Japan? That's not even all.

Well enough of that. What really jaded my supposed to be brand new life without any problems was in the form of my top most hated persons starting that moment of my life. The main thorns to my ass ever since was my five years older stepsisters Himeko and Haruki.

If you think that it's like the greatest moment of my life where I would be smothered with sisterly care and love then your wrong.

Their fucking crazy!

I'm always scared the hell out of my mind up until now.

It's not that their ugly or what because they effin' look like Japanese dolls with their shiny obsidian round eyes, heavy with thick dark eye lashes. Dark accented eyebrows with coal black hair, styled in a left sided braid with a tiger hair ornament. Skin was as pail as the snow on that very first time I met them under the old Sakura tree in our garden, with lips as pink as the tree's flowers itself. They are even wearing expensive looking yukatas that time.

Perks of being an heiress of a mogul slash Yakuza leader, I know.

They may be the image of a perfect daughter and big sister to everybody, but I know better. They are literally not and far from an Angel I tell you...

But I can't really help you if your already blinded by them. Because beneath their pile of masks is a vicious and terrifying beast lurking under their shadows...

Yakuza- A counter gang or familia in Japan for the Americans or Italians

Sakura tree- A Cherry Blossom tree in English

Yukata- Are worn by men and women. Like other forms of traditional Japanese clothing, yukata are made with straight seams and wide sleeves. ... For men, an optional hat may also be worn to protect the head from the sun. Yukata literally means bath(ing) clothes, although their use is not limited to after-bath wear.
